I can't top Simonides
I won't even try
But, blue and stars
Are always on my mind
If I could lie
Upon
A bed of soft, wet grass
And dream, and think of what is to come next,
I would do this every night
From the pale setting of the sun
To the soft moon's rise
Life would be easy
And I'd quit thinking
Of my sorrowful, possible demise.
Tell me something about you
Something nobody else knows
Show some truths
Reveal to me your soul
Don't make it too obvious
Hide your secrets within ink
Not too long and not too short
But make me think
Make me guess
Help me to understand
Write out your dark confessions
And I'll be your biggest fan
Write a poem more than 5 lines but less than 20 revealing something about yourself that no one else knows, but don't say it exactly.  This might be tricky but  I got faith y'all can do it.  Tag it with #secretconfessions so I can  find  it. Thx.

When the
machine
takes over
and grinds
your bones,
skin, and
organs
into
useless, insignificant,
easily forgotten
pieces of
organic matter,
that's it.

That's exactly it.

You find yourself.

Fluffy bunnies how sweet is that

Hoppity hop in sweet candy land

Butterflies dancing in the breeze

Bluejays singing as happy as can be

Oh my gosh ders dat nasty man

Hunting wabbits oh let me be

Then out of no where..pop...boom...bang

An anvil and hammer bops nasty bad man

Sniffing and eating....the grass merrily

I watch carefully at dat nasty bad man

Looks likes he is out for the rest of the day

As I hop on merrily on my way to play

In our fairy wonderful candy land

The Noose
Balmy breeze whispering
Through the gaps
In the field of trees
Auroras fluorescence
Overhead
Aglow in your irises
Like the red August blaze
Of autumn's past
Vibrant lucidity
Pulsating in your veins
Give me your light
Take my gothic.

*A well holds the stars
And spits out comets
Smooth-edged stones
Wet with old skies

The colors that light
Hasn't reached
Mistaken for night

Then suddenly clear
The wordless wind
Howls in delight
