Celebrities make poor politicians.
Poor politicians become celebrities.
Click. Clique.
Makes one shutter): Why are politicians celebrities? They have enough power without fame and its accompanying influence. I understand entertainment, sports and writers becoming famous because they've actually done something, but too many politicians lack what we deem desirable (Jesus is the exception).

together as one
fragile we were
still green to the world
so we ran with the lust

together as one
growing we were
are roots now deeper
this lust turned to love

together as one
as the years flew by
we created this life
a mother you now were

together as one
as our last days approach
what a life we both shared
together as one

Growing to manhood is a slippery *****
Of razor blades and bones that grow.
****** screen shots of angel wings,
Red carpet slits, eye popping lips,
Miss Pageants and tutus on skates.
Britney shaking, Jennifer quaking,
No Old Spice to take young spice's place.
The X comes before the Y,
Yet Toxicity is the hue and cry.
I'm a man in a mixed-up world,
But girls still like boys,
And boys adore girls
I don't dismiss sexism, but the daily ****** and jab at males being a "toxic ***" will impact us in ways we don't see yet.

Moonlight reappears
You and I both know
If it feels right
Embrace and go

Liquor pours
Your favorite record plays
Compose yourself as I grow tall
Look

As our silhouettes dance on the wall
Tonight we can live our dreams
But forgive me
It just seems

That you are holding back
Please don’t hold back
Let it out
Live our dreams

You still owe me an explanation
Before you ruin another night
All the questions
All the pain
No need to start again
When we both know
Where it will end
Secrets exposed
All the stones unturned
All the memories
Let them burn

It is as if
My most golden time
Was when I had absolutely
No need for gold
All that altered my life
Was the glimmer in your eye

In search
Of release
Holding tight
Decisions clouded by lust
Take my hand

There's movement afoot.
Occupants and sycophants
Are scattering
From the Rainbow Rooms
To the more concrete setting
Of the Oral Office,
Where the North and South Porticos
Admit the transients
Behind the secure cement walls
Of the Skinners.
2019 should prove rewarding. From White House to Big House. From Oval Office to Oral Orifice.
