poetry runs about like a child
free with innocence
and the laughter of love

why does the bee buzzzz
a communication of

Beware
when he is loved so much

Guess he sees us as potential
hairless honey stealing bears

the inscape of any outscape
is the scape I seek
the movement of minds-
beyond the normal perception
moved beyond this solid-
world through the outscape senses
a poor poor try at coming close to Gerard Manley Hopkins . Priest of the religious order of Jesuits and Poet of no small renown

so many quietly getting on doing good
never shouting or advertising
looking for recognition or recompense
These are the saints of today
they live among us
And there is the saint who gets up everyday
goes to their work doing the best job they can
Yes these also are the saints of today
And we could go on and on about the family
who live and love each member to a fault
And the person walked by everyday
Yes the saints are many and manifold in their ways

The moments are solemn
Creepy silence has overcome
Once bustling with creative fervor
Stupefied to silence, words dried up
Eternal spring, at the core of the soul
Lying stagnant for a long time
Layers of **** and algae made it murky
The Muses don’t come to drink from it
There is no music played anymore
Violin strings have rusted and not tuned
Every note wailing in despair and neglect
No hymns, only dirge, is chanted from afar
Solemn moments have gripped the heart
Soul deprived of the sweet lyrical waters
Poet’s aquifer is dangerously low
Waiting for the rains of wisdom and creativity
To replenish the eternal spring
Clearing out the **** and algae
Inviting the Muses again, to visit the spring
And words shall flow with clarity, once again
Music shall reign supreme in the soul

I've been staring at this blank page for months
Knowing I should be able to write
The beautiful things that happened to us
The twists and wonders
Alive and palpable possibilities
Which now seem dead to me
Because we were never in love
But oh god we could have been
When confused, write it down.

The thing about humans is that they wanted to be chased, but only push that person away. And then sooner or later they will realize that they're in love with that person, who is already in love with someone else.

Third Eye Candy
your atheist heart at a revival tent. tentative.
van gogh gone. minivan extant. you move to idiot music and the outskirts
of once is enough. many, many times...
you bleed through your harp. you join the diaspora and flee belonging
in favour of a dry between. repetitive.
wheezing orchestral. your long strides clank. you farce and moan...
but Nothing is believable

Till Nothing Happens.

I witnessed the calf's first steps
On matchstick legs.
Mother's tongue towel;
A giant of love and pride.
There was poetry inside.

I've seen deaf lovers gesticulate a
Love story across a room full
Of walls of noise and chatter.
Like smugglers they would hide,
Sneaking poetry inside.

I've seen old mothers stand,
Back straight, denying war
Machinery access.
A protective circle of lives,
Around the
Poetry inside.

I've poked at something
Dead in a ditch
With a stick just to look at the
Maggots and bugs
Couldn't help it though I tried;
There was poetry inside.

I traced her face with mine,
I gazed into
Her spacious eyes as we'd
Unite and move together
And that warmth could not have lied;
There was poetry inside.

Each thing a gallery, that's how I see
The world -as if I read it-
Which I swear by and abide:
It is glaced with art and colour;
It has poetry inside.

blackbird who serenades me to sleep
and sings for me to wake
hunts silently skipping through the grass
a table laid for such a beautiful bird
who can sing the socks off and on this man

here I am a man bathed in the shadows of love
for the shadow is what I kindly see
too bright the full light of love for me
too bright bright enough the kindly shadows of love for me

The characters you form into words

                                     tingle on my tongue

I can almost taste them
                                         like sweetness
                                                       laced with luxuria

I'd love to pause within them
so that I could just sit
                                     unnoticed
            while you scribe beautiful
                            curls and swirls
                                             around me

Your pen in motion would tell me
             how my name would sound
                    when whispered by you.

Tiptoeing
                          around loving words so gentle
I would feel them beneath my toes
                                           as they brush over them

                                                                playfully

    Wandering slowly between phrases,
phrases that truly capture my heart
          causing an ache inside
            so deep
it's not in my chest anymore

          Longingly lingering in your stanzas
                                     filled with metaphors
                                                            decorated
                                                   with your scent
I close my eyes, and inhale

        My pupils dilate
  at the thought of you,
                             writing

There's such an intense
                                            expression
                                           on your face

I want to reach out ....

If you didn't notice me
             I could stare deep
   into those delicious eyes
                                    so dark

    I sit here,
I wonder what I would see..
I wonder what you are like..
