Commuter Poet
Breathe in quickly
Gather more oxygen
To encourage the thought

Widen the eyes
To take it all in

Keep still
Do not talk
Or dare interrupt the moment

But give the thought space
To materialise

And then
Suddenly
There it is

Truth

Apparent
Present
Realised
Understood

Adrenaline surges
Joy flows
And there is peace with oneself
Connection to the universe

A new dawn has broken
Rich with possibilities
Changing everything

I am the farthest thing from okay
A person could ever be
But I think for a little while I will make it
As long as you promise to stay with me

i swear i write every word just to reach you.
everything i do is to teach you , to understand how i need to be loved, with the coldest distance that keeps me warm at night.
love me carefully, please

Words are my kind of showing my feelings.
Not always with my mouth. Mostly with a pen.

Words are my kind of showing my feelings.
Not always right, but always open.

Words are my kind of showing my feelings.
Not always like all, but always me.

Words are my kind of showing my feelings.
Not always agreeable, but always free.

I don't think I understand
the concept of friends
the concept of loved ones
the face you can talk to in hard times
the place you can call home
the home which lies in a person

I don't think I understand
what it is to have a home
because whenever I find it
whenever my heart starts to heal

I always seem to run away

this is how i travel,
with a paperback clung to
my chest, fingers wrapped 'round
like birthday gift ribbons

i sail on the syllables,
the music they make.
how many homes i have,
nestled in the spaces
between paragraphs and phrases.
each chapter an
island
where i'm somebody
else

this is how i learn,
how i journey -
between pages
and tales.

do not come to
find me
Should I start an Instagram exclusively for my words?

Words I think
and
those I feel
separate
but merge surreal.
In my mind
or in my heart
words together
yet apart.
Blunt or sweet
words of choice
trying to find
that inner voice.
Powerful tools
for all to use
encouraged by
a certain muse.

I can see
From good to evil
I have to make those choices
Everyday
A glass of water or a six pack
Shake it off
Or chase those blues away

I fled the cave
Of voiceless shadows
To know the other side
The path beyond
The supernatural
A light that heals
The restless mind...

I heard Isaiah call to say,
Listen to me in silence today,
Let the sacred light guide our way,
Isaiah called to us to say,
Listen to me in silence today,
In quiet stillness in your hearts,
Listen to me, don't let us part,
One light of God to lead the way,
For Peace on Earth, let us pray,
Listen to me in silence today,
I heard Isaiah call to say.
A thought from the Bible. Feedback welcome.

Loveless
Your skin is my sky
That contains all the stars
Your arms are a magnet
That don't let me go far

Your hair are the dark
That are my night
Your embrace is my sigh
That holds me so tight

Your lips are my water
That is so pure
Your kiss is my medicine
That have my wounds cure

Your mouth have my words
That become my rhyme
Your body is my space
That makes me forget time

Your fingers are my flowers
That are laid in your hand's park
Your neck is my canvas
That contains my bite's mark

Your eyes are my moons
That shine so bright
Your smile is my sun
That gives everything light

Follows my inhale
Embraces my exhale

Sleeps my thoughts
Restores my mind

Honours my body
Heals my heart

Balances my nature
Shines my light

Welcomes my warmth
Accepts my spirit

Cleanses my essence
Respects my soul
