Dear exams,

I'm sorry to say, but I've lost all interest in you. I don't see why I didn't
lose interest in you sooner to be completely honest. I use to love learning
new things and cramming useless information into my cranium, but I must
say that forcing myself to study to pass your standards is just not who I am.There's no need to throw a question I cannot answer in my face whenever you're upset. Nor do I have to explain myself to you for that matter. Has anyone told you you ask a lot of questions?

I must admit that I am not perfect, but neither are you. You are filled
with errors and flaws that I must say are simple mistakes. I will always
remember you, but I don't think my memory of you will be a fond one...
I am grateful for all the support you've given me especially with my
grades, but I will admit that understanding you was difficult. I remember
hopelessly thinking about you all night after seeing you. I felt terrible
because I literally had no idea how to go about answering your fifty
questions. Even though you gave me choices it was still a difficult decision
to make. I went home that night disappointed thinking that I had messed
up my only chance with you.

But now you're back, but I admit I am definitely not excited about it.
And I will see you again today, which like I said I am not excited about. I
guess that all we can ever be now is acquaintances. A student to exam
relationship that definitely bares no love what so ever. I cannot wait to be
done with you. As they say, there are a million exams in the library...
And they should all be thrown away.

P.S: The paper shredder was looking for you.

                                                                                      Sincerely,
                                                                                        The unhappy student
I was told to act like a lady and speak sugar coated words.
Cover my face in make up and look pretty for the world.

I was told to act like a lady and wear skirts not jeans.
Impress people around and make them all happy.

I was told to act like a lady and be polite to everyone.
Suffocate my own dreams and live like others.

I was told to act like a lady and keep my voice down.
Just pass smiles and not to laugh out loud.

I was told to act like a lady and be a lovable doll.
Let them play with me while I can't put up any walls.

I won't act like a lady and there's nothing you can do.
I'll be whoever I want to be, it's my kingdom to rule.
Random thoughts scribbled down.

people turn their backs
they can't handle emotion
they run with the packs
they can't handle devotion
they only want stacks
financial promotion
their names on the plaques
of outstanding notion

people turn their heads
toward their satisfaction
no tears are shed
struggle is a distraction
they look straight ahead
toward their transactions
they walk on the dead
to get to their attractions
little ollie otter he lived in a brook
oneday he got bored so a holiday he took
he travelled off abroad where other otters stay
to the land of canada so very far away.

headed for the forest and the rivers near by
suddenly he heard another otter cry
ollie he got closer to take closer look
there the little otter he was firmly stuck.

he was in the river tangled in the ****
trying to break free very stuck indeed
ollie he jumped in as brave as brave can be
chewed away the **** and set the otter free.

otter he was happy he had got away
otter he thanked ollie they began to play
swimming in the river underneath the sun
happy and content having lots of fun.

ollie he was happy with is holiday
glad he saved his friend that was stuck that day
ollie he returned to his homeland shore
hoping maybe oneday he would see his friend once more
In a dark place.
Where the sun never shone.
This is the place.
That I call home.

Where the wind howls.
The roof leaks.
All the windows are broken.
An the floor squeaks.

Where in the dead of winter.
The wind bites my nose.
All year long.
The rats nip my toes.

The wood is rotten.
No fire to stoke.
This is what remains.
of what was broke.

No one else lives here.
I'm all alone.
Singing sad songs.
In a sad empty home.

Why am I here.
These thoughts do grind.
What to do now.
With a broken mind.
