Girl, his heart was never there But you decided to stay You were blindsided by love He has sadly, led you astray You have suffered a great deal What a tough lesson to learn Next time just open your eyes So you will not get burned
Respect your lady Give her tender-loving care Cherish every moment that you spend with her Just always be there Shower her with love As you hold her in your arms Be gentle and kind Give her all of your charms
When you run down the wrong road You are bound to run into a dead end It is not too late to turn it all around Find your way back towards the light my friend Do not hide in the shadows For they will deter your progress Always lift yourself upward In order to seek your happiness
Words have the power To enlighten and inspire Just lift yourself up And continue to reach higher Take those necessary steps In order to cross that bridge Build your foundation As you climb towards the ridge
Chances and opportunities Will not always be there Get at it and do your thing Just making my voice clear Moments will come and go It is important to make lasting memories Sometimes, later means never Make it happen and be a part of history
