Sometimes It Makes You Wonder

Sometimes it makes you wonder
Just what was on their minds
The day that they promoted them
Thinking they would do just fine

They say they have the answers
Think they understand
Know for sure it will work out
Because they have a plan

You watch them make mistakes
Try to help out where you can
Then get told just do your job
They don't need a helping hand

So now you sit back and just laugh
At decisions that are made
Because you know they've been tried
And failed along the way

You would think that they could see
Your experience could just help
Use the knowledge that you have
Before they get walked out

But they just keep on pretending
They hope that no one sees
That what they know is no where close
To where it needs to be

Sometimes it makes you wonder
What was on their minds
The day that they promoted them
Thinking they would do just fine.

Sometimes it makes you wonder

Sometimes the boss simply shouldn't be the boss. You try to offer help but cant force them to accept it. So there is nothing you can do but watch the destruction because if they won't listen or accept the help then they have to learn the hard way.  And Unfortunately this is a sad but true story...lol
A peace permeates my heart
lights gleam in my eyes
when I feed the little birds
feel all darkness soon dies.

Disappear chunks of my woes
a smile breaks on my lips
as I hold them warm n close
my fingers kiss their beaks.

A bliss they give without price
that dissolve my aches n pains
when I look deep in their eyes
touch there a divine innocence.

In rough tides my solace
rescuer from life’s quicksand
they import me a happiness
while pecking from my joyous hand.
How*  does  it  feel  like
when  you  carry  a  bag  full  of  books?
I  hope  that  it  doesn't  feel  like  a  burden  as  it  looks,

I  wish  to  study  just  like  you,
scampering  towards  the  school   before  the  first  bell  in  a  crew,

But  you  know  what  I  do?
infront  of  your  school  I  sit  and   polish  your  *shoe!
Education is the right of every child.
Earning money is the responsibility of parents.
Why do I think of the best poem ideas
When I can't write them down?
Repost if you think of those amazing poem ideas of yours when there's no pen or paper around or when you're in the shower or you should be sleeping or just when you can't write them down. Thanks! ^.^
Black and white
In between, I fall
I’m a scale to black
And the shade of white
I’m the color of no color
I’m the dusk, I’m the night
I’m the soul of all colors
I’m the glimpse after light
I’m the “G” in Green
I’m the “R” in Red
I’m the “A” in Aqua
I’m the “Y” in You
And you are my delight

Ocean Blue
Last night
I asked to the moon
If she would still want me.
She replied very soon
That she's not used
To deal with cases like me.
But she whispered
That if I wished
I could
Lift mountains.
Inspired by Indochine's song "J'ai demandé à la lune"

Ocean Blue
Please, come closer
I wish to feel you near
So I can whisper
Something in your ear.
Three little words I call a secret,
A commitment I don't dare to say
But if you press on my heart
You'll feel it anyway.

What if we had met
In Florence, say five centuries ago
Would you have let
Me be your Leonardo ?
You gentle face I would have framed
In the back, a sfumato of Tuscany
You, I would have named
My Mona Lisa, smiling to eternity.

Ocean Blue
During a clear night of autumn,
At the other end of Europe,
You came to life
So easily, so peacefully
Without a strife
Even making me to worry.
You were already as you are now,
Quiet, secret, colourful,
Like all the stripes of a rainbow.
The very day
of your first birthday,
You started to walk.
When you were two,
You started to talk,
Your dark eyes
Searching in my ocean blue
Clues like united spies,
What is wrong, what can be true,
This innocent curiosity
I find challenging and funny.
When you were three,
You broke your arm.
When you were four,
We moved to another country,
Where you had to learn
To be a little Frenchy.
When you were five,
During a cold winter night,
You were sleeping
When our worst nightmare
Became reality.
When you were seven,
Your newborn sister took you to heaven.
Now, when you have too much of Elle
For a second, you are close from hell.
Now the years are passing by
Like speedy clouds in the sky.
You are growing,
Walking to school with friend,
Without knowing
That, to this race I would like to put an end.
Sometimes I regret
Not to take enough time
To tell you yet
How much I love you
How much I am proud of little you.
Stay as you are
In my night, be a star,
And let me say,
Happy Birthday.
"Decaded" to my son Denis, who turns 10 in a few hours. Hopefully, one day he will read this text, along with "Your Dad".
