I do a lot when I'm bored
None of it good

There was a single rose in my room
It had began to wilt
I thought for sure the next day it would be dead,
But by that morning it had risen
Another two days and the wilting rose
Was as vibrant as the day it was received

Humans could learn a thing or two from roses

Whenever you feel like giving up,
Stop what you're doing and think.
Think carefully and look for a reason.
A reason to move forward
To keep on going

It's not the end
If you look hard enough,
You'll find the reason and will to stay.
Even if it's for a short while,
It's still a reason

the last time i got a manicure
was the day i met you.
you helped me pick out the color,
a coral pink gel that i hated until you said it looked nice.
the longest we went without talking that day was the 5 minutes it took my nails to dry.
the manicure wore off after 2 weeks
but the crush certainly didn’t.

I lie awake remembering, wishing I could sleep to forget.
