I dreamed of you last night

Both in separate places

We came to find each other

Sitting down you hugged me

I smiled and felt contentment

It's the small things

The simple things

I dreamed of you last night

She was so beautiful
The blind men would fall in love with her beauty.
She was so beautiful
The angels would give up their wings
So they could walk next to her.
She was so beautiful
The seagulls would fly to the desert
Just to be with her.
She was so beautiful
Not even the demons would dare to seed sins
in her pure soul.
She was so beautiful
I would let her hurt me over and over again
And thank her for that.
She was too beautiful for such a miserable heart
Like mine.
You’re like a King without a Queen
Sleeping without a dream
Thinking your brave, but all you do is scream.
See if I care
Now isn’t that fair.

So pick your poison
And take a sip
It’ll be over, in a bit.
See if I care
Now isn’t that fair.

Searching for love without a lover
Dancing without a melody
Giving up before it beings.
See if I care
Now isn’t that fair.

Burning in water
Like a dove without wings
In a sky without stars.
See if I care
Now isn’t that fair.

Singing without a song
All you do is run in circles
Living without breathing.
See if I care
Now isn’t that fair.

See if I care
If once upon a time
All you do is leave
With the tears of the sun.
See if I care
Now isn’t that fair.
Imagine
An imagined ******
Outside the state
Of awakedness
In the middle of the night
With your eyes and  mind
Shut tight
Without a worldly boy or girl

Imagine
You can step between
Each microcosmic
Moment in time
Humming
The eternal
*******
Existential rhyme

Gaté  Gaté  Gaté

This is the state
Of everlasting
Awakedness

memories fade,
but truth has its ways,
of sticking to things that are made.
days months and all of time can pass
but truth speaks the same language,
if only in a softer voice

The powers of the mind wane
in proportion to the enlarging of the heart
the one thing you need for an eternity of love
deathbed confessions
By: Cedric McClester

“We’ve got to take ‘em out,
And their families too,”
Said a presidential contender.
I’ll let you guess just who
And as for water-boarding
That’s something that he’d do
There are no depths of depravity
That he would not stoop to

At times he seems delirious
But it’s hard to say
Whether he is serious
When he talks that way
His words seem to have Teflon
Cuz he’s not made to pay
The price a normal person would
But there’ll be a Judgment Day

A thousand Muslims celebrating
In New Jersey on a roof
In the aftermath of  9/11
They just joked and goofed
Is what he said quite clearly
Without offering the proof
As often is the case
When he's challenged by the truth

He’d close our Southern boder
And divide it by a fence
That the Mexicans would pay for
At their own expense
By keeping out the Syrians
He’d reduce the chance for error
As if widows and orphans
Are the main culprits of terror
