You are the way
The truth
The light
None shall come
To the Father
Except through Me*.
Follow in His footsteps
And you shall see,
It's been in front of you
All along,
Leave all
And be with Me.
Leaving it all behind,
Leaping towards Him,
All to find You were just
Leading me on.

seeing you calms the ever brewing storm inside of me; I've never known this feeling before
you excite me, yet you make me so calm and collected. what is this?
You
when the pain is so great
they will say anything
how can you know what is true
when the pain is so great
he will say he loves you more than life
or that he planned the operation
because torture is not about truth
but only to relieve the pain
it is not who they are
what they have done
or how they wish to live on after the pain
neither is quiet loneliness God’s blessing
your job becomes who you are
going home a curse
especially if you do not live alone
you cannot understand
why everyone seems to be happy
but do you learn how to live with two choices
to not say anything you wish to say
to feel nothing when you do
without pain or loneliness
or do you instead
say everything
about anything at all
to the one you love
without remorse
not because of pain
or loneliness
but because you are alive
unafraid to be who you are
as you are now at home
at peace
you
may it be the taste of your
lips that prefer wine I'm so
baffled by
it's the only familiar feeling I've loved
and lost and wondered how, why
how, why is it possible to love so angrily and burn so bitterly
like embers still simmering to the soul's surface
whispering lullabies to calm desire
save the lamplight
some things are better left unsaid.

goodbye.
Two bodies lay still, on a hilltop at night.
The moon gone black; the stars the only light.
A light breeze startled them, both nearly asleep,
and the one, a young boy, planted a kiss on the others cheek.
The other, a young girl, smiled small and wearily;
the night was growing old, they both lay there sleepily.
The boy pulled her closer; she laid her head on his chest,
laid an arm over his stomach, as he wrapped his 'round her waist.
The girl then smiled a bit wider, nuzzling into the boy,
closing her eyes, feeling so overjoyed.
The boy, smiling softly, looking down at her,
gently rubbed his thumb against her shoulder.
He counted the stars, in an almost whisper like tone
just to where she could hear him, and start dozing off in his arms.
To her, he was just counting, nothing important to her
but to him, he was counting how long they'd be together.
after a while, she giggled, and placed a finger on his lips,
and then he smiled wider, and pecked her fingertip.
Then she fell asleep, buried into his chest,
and he dozed off, smiling, holding her close, one number imprinted into his head:
Infinity.
