JAC
Once, he was asked,
"Tell me what is true.
Why is it that you
write just what you do?"

He laughed, and said
with half a smile,
"I write so you'll
fall in love for a while."

After a pause, he said pleasantly,
"Not with me - I'm a liar, you see,"

And grinning wildly,
he spoke his conclusion:
"Love is a poet's favourite illusion."
As requested, the full version of the poem that long-adorned my bio.

Rain
Is peaceful
As it falls.

Are
We at
Peace too?

Our first clue
That love will hurt,
Should have been
Cupid shoots arrows
At people.

"But is the pain worth it?"
For I wouldn't know,
I've only been grazed
A couple times.

I watched
As you peeled your layers back
Enough for me to see
The ripening fruit underneath
Enough, for me to love
The seeds that spring forth
At the mention of growth.

I watch
As you grow
As you break shell of seed
And peak of dirt
To kiss the air
As gently as ever
For my Papaya, keep growing despite struggle♡
Much love for you @VØD

She
is
fresh air,
and I
had
forgotten I
had not been
breathing well.

She
breathes the sunset
back into
me
and suddenly
things are vivid once again

She
is the cold
when the sun
and I
have fought until the night.

I
never thought
that one person could
make the stars seem trivial,
but now I know,
even the stars
wonder about
her.

He says it's impossible without him,

but it's possible.
