There are hearts that break
in silence, with tears
that nobody can see.

So maybe,
                just maybe…

Some tears demand
to be written by the poet's pen,
so others can find beauty
in that which makes us cry.

Maybe,
           just maybe…

The tears of the poets' pen,
unveils the beauty
of love and pain
giving comfort to others
that they’re not alone.

And then again
maybe,
          just maybe…

There will be times
that nobody
will understand your feelings…

Write them anyway
because they are still
so **** beautiful!!*

Lora Lee
Gently, she goes
as soft as a fawn
opens the window
and waits for the dawn
fireflies glow
wind caresses her face
as she sheds all the shadows
not leaving a trace
She dons velvet darkness
wrapped in its cloak
releases all poisons,
                 sylphlike,
             in smoke
She is preparing for battle
in her own, quiet way
She only wants wholeness
as she breaks through the gray
For soon she will weave
prismatic wonders of spells
her own inner aurora
lighting heaven from hell
For suffered she has
and it's time to forgive
unlock self-made prisons
and let herself live
and now as sunrise approaches
stars still in sight
she turns the skeleton key
and glides
into
             flight

To touch the stars

milky way
instead,
glowworms in a cave.

No

Snapdragon prints on a summer cotton dress
Your body gave them vibrance when you danced,
your laughter gave the petals sweet fragrance,
your bouquet
a shroud of decadence.

Just as the Earth had given up hope
The Moon came waltzing in.
He took her hand and guided her lane
And steered her clear from sin.

“Darling don’t make me throw you a rope,
“Even though you know I will.
“This world can drive anyone insane
“But yours is a special skill.”

And he stayed and showed her how to cope
Encouraging her to leap.
“Your destiny is more than the pain
“And your beauty you must keep.”

And he stayed and showed her the Earth’s scope
For his orbit kept him there.
They knew that the world had much to gain
From this formidable pair.

And then just before they could elope
The Sun finally broke free.
“Now’s the time for destiny to reign
“And there have always been three.”

But now this is a slippery *****
When the three become The One.
The Sun will set and the Moon will wane
But the Earth is never done.
