Cuts and bruises yet to bare.
Climbing trees
Or being chased by bees.
Adventures never far away.
Sitting on the grass
Watching the clouds above.
Parents feeling proud
Knowing we are in love.
For these are the days we cherish
Just before we perish
Into adulthood ahead
Because thats what children are like.

The wealthy person who worries about losing what he owns is more to be pitied than the poor person who is worried about his next meal.
