Music is medicine
Music is food for the soul
Music transcends beyond time and space
Music lifts you up much higher
Music inspires
Music brightens the day
Music is the perfect ending to a day while watching the moon and the stars
Music and poetry are perfect company
Music and poetry work  together to end the day on a good positive note!
I regret to inform you, my friends,
that I may be offline for an extended period of time.
Due to intense visual migraines.
I will Greatly miss you all and your wonderful poetry.
I plan to return when my health improves so I need to
temporarily bid you  adieu.
Through the eyes of a child, there is wonder and amazement
Through the eyes of a child, ordinary things become extraordinary
Through the eyes of a child, there is expectant hope and dreams and faith in a good future
Through the eyes of a child, there is innocence and love and caring and sharing
Through the eyes of a child, there is forgiveness for both big and small mistakes
Through the eyes of a child, much strength and wisdom can be found when looking at life through the eyes of a child.
This poem is dedicated to my neighbor's granddaughter who is only 4 years old and is currently in the hospital fighting for her life after being shot down at the reservation where she lives at due to a hate crime. Please keep this little girl in your thoughts and prayers.

The clouds obscure the sun,
But somehow,
The light still slips through
And illuminates the sky.

"It's normal to see them around trash cans, dumpsters, and
decaying veggies, but mine found he's or her
home resting on my bathroom faucet.
Every morning there it rests.
To me i never felt it was a pest.
What gives me the right to judge God creations?
A category characteristic of there own.
It was not being harmful to me, yet a bit
playful i may add.
Flying in front of my mirror making sure
looking good for the day planned.
Done, it would land on my finger as i escorted
us both out into open land.
I released. Flying with freedom to the sound
of Steve Miller Band.
Doing my errands for the day i would think
at times what my simple little friend was up to.
It sometimes made me sad when i thought one day hearing
someone say."They die on the 3rd day"...
What suddenly came to me. It was the end of the 3rd day.
I awoke on the 4th. Walked slowly into the bathroom.
Looked upon the faucet. My morning companion was gone.
Living with a fruit fly maybe absurd to many, but i love all
creatures of God. To me it was full of fun, and funny."
