Life can give you lemons
Life can give you berries
Will you enjoy the bitter sweet taste?
Will you focus on the bitterness of the lemon ?
Or will you get lost in the sweetness of the berries ?
Well, it's a choice we make everyday
learning to enjoy the tasteful blend of sorrows and joys
Laughter and cries
Happiness and sadness
Whatever is served
We learn to make the best out of it and quench the thirst

There are those in life
Who have given their best
Shot their best shot
Jumped their longest stride
Walked their longest mile
Ran their longest race
Climbed their highest peak
Although somehow they still haven't reached their destination
Haven't found their happy ending
But they still put their best foot forward
they rise after every fall and keep pushing
Until one day the find their answer
Until one day they turn dust into gold
Until one day they become the light at the end of the tunnel
They beam like a lighthouse
and show the world who they are made of, made of stardust
They shine bright like gemstones on the midnight blue sky

To be a star you need to embrace the darkness
Stars can't shine without darkness

I lay down this dead roses
Out in the open field
Watch the petals turn to dust
And vanish in the wind
Make a heart felt wish
For a soul I once thought I knew is dead and gone
Sank deep into the abyss
So glad I could catch a glimpse of whats left of your sunken soul
And now I loosen my grip and set you free
May the waves carry the weight of your burdened spirit
Forever hold your peace

I send a hope upon the wave for the soul I failed to save

Dense forest
Lush greenery
Clear skies
Crispy air
Bare feet
Dropped leaves
Bloomed petals
Chirping birds
Whistling wind
Dancing trees
This is where I belong
A place where silence speaks
And my spirit runs free
I'm a wild heart
So send me out into the woods
I meant for the wild
This is my haven
I'm a wild heart
Come let's take a walk on the wild side
Experience liberty
Feel the tranquility
Enjoy the epiphany
Eliminate the illusory

I've been here before
I have seen this before
It feels like a labyrinth
A meandering path
Every finishing line is the beginning of a new life line
Round and around
A never ending maze, a never ending path
A cycle that keeps repeating itself like a rhyme
Merrily, merilly, merrily, merrily
Life is but a dream
Life is but a dream

Somedays it feels like a night mare
Caught up in a dream where I'm the only one awake
Somedays it feels like I'm running blind trapped in a changing maze
Somedays it feels like I'm a bird floating in the atmosphere
with a happy go lucky vibe, just going with the wind
Somedays It feels like I'm the sun
My head is held up high and my soul is shining bright
Somedays are great
Somedays are vague
But everyday I'm here living

#Soulsearching

In the land of filtered posts beautiful lies fake smiles and instant likes
Lies souls with tired hearts and broken wings
Locked behind screens
Too scared to admit they are falling apart
Too scared to admit that they are drowning in despair
Too scared to admit they are afraid and alone
As they stare in the mirror, the real reflection stares back
Revealing the crooked smile and injured soul
But, no! they can't let the world see what's beneath their beautiful
So they drink a glass or three to drown it away
Puff a cigarette or two to smoke it away
When morning comes they'll pose for the camera fake a smile post up and play it cool
While they gaze at their screens and keep count on their "likes"
As soon as the sun goes down
The sadness creeps in and their inner voice roars
They drink a glass or three to drown it away
Puff a cigarette or two to smoke it away
Until the sun comes up and put it on repeat

Social media is training us to compare our lives, instead of appreciating everything we are.No wonder why everyone is always depressed.”-Bill Murray
