Its too late to apologise when
The damage is done.

Some words said can never be taken
Back and sorry doesn't change it.

Some deep wounds will never heal not
Even in time.

Some thoughts will stay with you for
A lifetime.
This is poem I wrote is about how sometimes it can be too late to say sorry and saying sorry  doesn't always make things better or make what you said hurt any less.
The cruel words still hurt.
The thoughts won't go away.
The scars won't heal anymore.
It maybe the past to you.
But the pain never dies.
I wrote this about a bully that I confronted and to them it was in the past but sometimes that pain never does leave you and leaves a mental scar behind

It seems to me
the more things change
the more they stay the same.
I wonder how the rules evolve
but we keep at the same game
and though tired at competing
we're addicted to the bother
for when we lose we need to prove
and when we win we need another
and though we're all exhausted
we are spurred on by the lies
and i feel i've lived a million lives
and tried a million tries.

I think
as artists
we owe a lot to pain.

Put on
a robe of thorns
and write

about the nice weather outside
and that delicious burger
you had today.

Write about happiness
when you're in pain-
beauty.

Pay me
All the space
You occupied
Inside my mind;
You rented
And ravaged
A thousand times.
Took me years
To drive you out
But I should be fine.

Refund me
For the pretense
And all your lies
I bought;
Believing in a
Plundered love
Of a lost cause.
My heart was invested
But pain is all
I'll reap the most.
