My eyes played tricks,
not moving to the monitor
but pulling toward
that sound of sipping tea

The soft whooshing captured my focus.
Mind following eyes - -
I was on my back
basking in the sun - -
gazing at the clouds

Her emanation was sapphire blue,
emerald green tinged crimson
at the edges -  -
monitor and mind together went
blank. I sat in a trance
until the emotion crept

slowly up my neck then down my back.
She gave me a glance.
She finished her tea
shuffled some paper, left the place

A dancer without music,
the glide out graceful.
Her glimmering aura disappeared
as she faded into the day

I find it tragically beautiful;
How angry I am and how much I love you
Or did.
Hard to tell if I still do when I'm too hung up on remembering you.

Every single detail, bittersweet.
My heart pounds as I can feel how close we used to be
Both physically and spiritually.
Can't breathe.
The hardest part of this is not knowing whether you think of me.

My mind is flooded with images and sound:

How you used to crinkle your nose, your luscious brown hair and silky olive skin,
The way your voice glided into the most beautiful high notes,
And yet
You always hated all that I loved.

Now, I fear, you resent my caring for you and tending to your wounds

You are gorgeous, even when you leave.
What a lovely bird; what spiteful wings.
Best friends become dead ends. New beginnings are made separately. Desolately. Alone.

I am defenceless.

I do not trust trust,
no it is to good to trust.

i do not hope for hope,
it is to good to hope.
me i am cold.dark.frozen.

There is nothing left,
there was never anything in the first place.
The meaning of the words elude me.

no

i don't trust trust,
because it reminds me of me.
And me, i cant not help but love my demons,
because they are all i have left to remind me of the trust in hope i once had.

Tiny explosions along a diamond anklet
That wraps a tender, tan leg like water
Princess of beach religion
Slow motion dazzling beauty
Tossing sand-confetti
Her girlfriends run towards the sprinkling cascade
With satin action
Acting like satin
Tribe of water-brides
Oceanic fan club of sparkling lust
Discreet danger possible only in slow jewel worship
Prince of glamorous indifference
Reclines in the branches of a shiny glass tree

They just came off the carousel
And now they will roam and
Wander with blissful stares

I will soon join them, hoping
To find wild women and
Coconut lotions

We will be free, we’ll dance
And swim

They just came out of the water
And now they will journey
Into the night’s mystery

I will soon join them, excited
To discover new voices in
New places

We will be free, we’ll talk
To one another and share our
Lust for experience

They just came out of the
Woods and now they will
Sleep with their lovers, awaiting
The blink of dawn
