Why do we spend so much time
Thinking about dying
Hurting ourselves
Focusing on pain
Instead of living
Seeking beauty and joy
And focusing on what makes us smile?

Why do we spend so much time
Telling others they are good enough
That they are loved
That they are stronger than they believe
That they are more than what people may say
That they are truly beautiful
Inside and out
Trying to get them to believe they are
Not just to make them feel better
But because they truly are
While we spend so little time
Telling ourselves the same things
Or believing that we, ourselves, are truly beautiful?

Why do we spend so much time
Focusing on those who won’t pay attention
Or those who only give us negative attention
Focusing on those who don’t truly love us
Suffering when they treat us in such ways
And missing them when they are gone
While spending less time
Focusing on those who pay attention
Focusing on those who truly love us
Cherishing the way they treat us
And enjoying the time we have with them?

Why do we spend so much time
Trying to be someone we aren’t
And hating who we are
For anyone who would rather change us
Than to love us as we are
Letting anyone convince us we aren’t good enough
Instead of being who we are
And loving who we are
Knowing we are good enough
No matter who may tell us otherwise
Even if the ones saying so are ourselves?

Why do we spend so much time
Worrying about what others think
Focusing on what others hate about us
And letting what others hate about us
Change the way we should see ourselves
While trying to make the people who don’t care happy
Instead of cherishing what people think
Focusing on what others love about us
Loving ourselves despite who may hate us
Despite what anyone may hate about us
Believing in ourselves
Just as much as we believe in others
Letting the good ways people see us
And what people love about us
Change our focus from self hate
To self love
Despite what anyone
Including ourselves
May hate about us?

Why do we spend so much time
Arguing with people who want us to argue
Hating people who want us to hate
Instead of ignoring those who cannot interact decently
And loving them despite their hatred
Not because of their disrespectful actions
But because they, like us, are still human?

Why do we spend so much time
Saying how we don’t agree
With the way people disrespect
With the way people insult
With the way people try to hurt us
Only to disrespect those who disrespect us
Insulting those who insult us
Hurting those who hurt us
Showing the same disrespects and dishonors
Instead of being the example we want others to be
Despite being treated less than we deserve by anyone?

Why do we spend so much time
Standing together in hatred against those who hate
Instead of standing together in love
Showing them the same love we show each other
Despite their hatred towards us?

Why do we spend so much time
Hating others
Hating ourselves
Disrespecting others
And in doing so, disrespecting ourselves
Instead of loving others as we want to be loved
Loving ourselves as we want others to love us
Loving ourselves as we want others to love themselves
And respecting others
As well as ourselves
The same way we want others to respect us
Even if they do not?

Why do we spend so much time
Judging those who judge us
While saying they have no right to judge
Or trying to stop anyone from speaking freely
While defending our right to speak freely
Condemning them because their words offend us
While justifying ourselves in doing the same?

Why do we spend so much time
Pushing some of those who love us away
All while promoting love
Searching for love
And wondering why we can never find it?

Why do we spend so much time
Opposing such hypocrisy in others
In all the ways that we do
When we are all hypocrites in our own ways?

Why do we spend so much time
Destroying love
Denying love
To ourselves and to others
In all the ways that we do
All the while promoting love
Searching for love
Dreaming of love
Wishing for love?

I wish we knew

I wish we all could see
The true beauty of love

Then maybe we could stop doing these things
To ourselves and to others
Just as we wish others could stop

Maybe we could love ourselves
Just as much as we wish others could love us
Even if they may not

Maybe we could show everyone else
The same love we want them to show us
Even if they do not

Maybe we could respect others
As well as ourselves
The same way we wish others would respect us
Even if they refuse to

Maybe we could be the example
We wish others would be
Even if they won’t

It’s about time we all did
Freedom

I want to live my life based on peace, love and understanding. I want to look into the eyes of strangers and not judge them, even a little bit, based on their religion, race or beliefs.
I want to live a life based on love.
To sing songs like, "All you need is love," or even "Masters of War" and believe wholeheartedly in the words I am singing.
I want to fight for the innocent women and children being *****, killed or perhaps even worse, kept alive, starved for food, air and freedom, in a lifeless life. In an uncaring world.

I want to tell my French friend that Jews do not dislike the French, that we do not begrudge the fact that 35% of the French people think "Jews today, in their own interest, exploit their status as victims of the **** genocide during WWII," and 25% stated that "Jews have too much power in the fields of economy and finance."
I want to be proud of the President of the United States for leading the world towards a better world. I want to say that Islam is a religion based on Love. But tell that to the millions of people who have had their lives turned upside down by cold blooded ****** in the name of their prophet.
I want to believe that it is religious extremism across the board needs to be addressed and discussed. But it is not religious extremism it is Islamic Extremism only, that has brought us to live in a world where fear and vigilance have become words that surround us on a constant basis.
I want to tell Israel to take down the walls, to just get over the murders, the bombs, the rockets and the destruction of peace in their lifetimes, in their homeland. (Which, by the way, is 1/19th the size of California.  It is only 260 miles at its longest, has a 112-mile coastline, 60 miles at its widest, and between 3 and 9 miles at its narrowest! Surrounded by land occupied by 22 Arab states 640 times the size of Israel.)
I never wanted Israel to destroy Gaza; but no country in the world, hell, no person living in a home that is constantly being bombarded with an aim to destroy, would show as much restraint as Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israeli Army did.
Freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of ****** orientation. Freedom to assemble and to protest, to demonstrate and to mock or satirize anyone. That’s Israel.
Netanyahu, in his Christmas message to the Christians in Israel stated, "Here in Israel religious freedom is a sacred principle. Israel’s Christian citizens enjoy the full blessing of freedom and democracy. Their equal rights are enshrined in Israeli law."
There are so many websites, news organizations and social site impostors who post and write about destruction caused by the U.S. and other democratic countries and equate them with the Islamic Jihadists and the Arab countries that bankroll them. There is a difference.
The United States and its Allies are fighting against terror, against evil and against a ideology that is based on the destruction of all freedoms, lives and civilizations.
The destruction of peace, love and understanding.
I want to, I want to love all peoples.
But more than that - I want to live, I want to be free from the vigilance and fear. I want to be free - and I believe that freedom should be fought for and should even be the excuse for war.
I don’t want war - I really am a lover of all people. I want peace.
But if it’s a choice between killing or being killed...I am going to do whatever it takes to live.
A world without freedom, a world filled with fear and destruction is not a world that anyone should be part of.

Why Sye?
Well Sye was the first of my rosebuds
She can be witty
Passionate
Romantic
Even child like at times
Sye belongs not to me
But to us
Write about a friend

Maybe the reason
I never see your face
in my
dreams.
Is because my mind
Could never
Replicate such,
Beauty.
when the snow falls in alaska its so nice to see
falling to the ground so peaceful and so free
huskies with there sledges running through the snow
such a lovely scene that gives your heart a glow.

trees they look so white standing oh so tall
branches catching snow as it begins to fall
cabins in the woods with roof tops oh so white
looking very pretty lighting up the night .

such a lovely place a picture of delight

You loved me because I was innocent.
Naïve.
New.
But, darling
Your eyes were too blind
To the deeper meaning
Behind long sleeves
And solo cups.

*** for me generally lives in one of two places, either the primal or the spiritual realm.

Primal *** is the *** I share with others because of our mutual, base level attraction, whether it’s in a smile, or a smell, a physical feature, or even something like a mannerism. You compel me, is what we’re saying, and our desire to learn each other is way way up there — though likely naked and on top of each other, wherever it may be.

Spiritual *** is the *** that happens where our entire lives cross and our minds collide and invite each other. What happens when our eyes tie together, dressed or bedded, sharing a look that says, “I know. Exactly.” What happens where words are few or many, and each one custom tailored, in willing wishes to reach specific ears clearly.

What happens under equalizing warm or cold wind in the snow or in the sand.
