Miracles
 Apr 11 Lostling
Erenn
Raindrops kiss the earth,
he sits beneath the grey sky—
eyes still on the stars.

Clouds hide every light,
but he whispers to the dark,
“Maybe one will fall.”

Storms can’t shake his faith—
even meteors seem far,
but he waits, and waits.

The world says, “Give up.”
He only tightens his grip—
hope like fire inside.

Rain or stars above,
he believes in miracles—
even if they burn.

The Soul
 Apr 11 Lostling
Maria
I met the Soul,
And she was empty.
She was exhausted, unattached.
She wandered charily,
Taking the back streets,
Not to be noticed.
She was unsaved.

Was she abused?
Was she just given up?
She walked so poor, not oneself.
"Why are you suffering?" -
I asked her heedfully.
And lo I realized:
It's my Soul herself.
Thank you for reading this poem!💖
cold collects
the warmth of breath

and kicks free
the final leaves

winter takes
what winter wants

and we watch
how autumn grieves
I could be talkative if I wanted to
but I worry that I might say the wrong thing
or say too much
or be annoying
I don't want to be annoying or too much
I don't want to burden people with
spewing words out
I don't want them to feel obligated to listen
so instead I shut my mouth
and become the quiet kid
therefore I won't be bothersome

freedom can be bare feet
or naked
or laughter
freedom can be poetry
It was dark in cave,
the air felt cold—inside out.

He held her
as if she were glass,
a lamb
in the arms
of a wolf midnight.

Outside
the sky wept,
but inside us
a flower bloomed—
in April.
I turned 18 today! Ahhhhhhh, happy birthday to me!! Thank you all so much for the love and support. I still can’t believe I’m 18 now. I’ve been ill for a few days, so this birthday hasn’t been the most enjoyable. On top of that, I’ve been caught up with academics too. I’m really thankful for everything I have, but I also want to keep improving and become a better version of myself. I have the best family ever, couldn’t ask for anything better, tbh.
autumn leaves angle
in a scrim

of light
untangled crows lift

from wires
and ever slow the sky

to set
and retire

you are enough

for this world
to touch

what trembles
and sigh

you are enough
Life is not a pageantry—we need no rubrics and criteria for judging.

Life is not a race—that no trophy or plaque, medals or cash gifts ever won.

Life is meaningful.
Talented young poets are in short supply,
So what shame it is to see a talent die.
I see the sparkle fade,
Disenchanted by doubt.
Please keep writing,
We are in need.
Art doesn't need correction, it needs improvement, innovation.
