When will this life of mine that is insanity
Be forgotten once more, in the sanity of sleep
The dark endless pit that is my chest
Let’s even the brightest of lights die
Even incandescent light that shows the influence of hope
Can be swallowed by the obscurity and ambiguity of my own being
Where then can I find comfort?
Never do I rest soundly
Revelling in my own misery until the piercing
The revelation of dawn approaching
Sickens you into a nauseated thirst for sleep
Fighting between the thirst for self-condemnation
And the thirst for the cold embrace of sleep
Like Odysseus in his 10-year plight
May I reach restful sleep tonight
As I lie here in turmoil, one minute, If but a night.

The silence is closer than before, after all, silence is the chorus of life and death, As all things alive will die and silence follows.
I have seen the unfathomable darkness in the universe and all of it is silent from the particles of Iron that is in every one of us, in our blood to the nuclear fission giants of stars.
This all takes place in the unending darkness of space and not a soul to try and hear this thundering silence.
We are one and the same be it the iron in our blood or the oxygen in our lungs it is and always will be the same particles of Starstuff even after the silence of death comes to us.
We cannot escape the dark abyss of our seemingly unending universe no matter how we try to love, laugh, live or die.
Silence is the song of life.
Silence is the song of death.
Silence is the never-ending song of the cycle in the universe.

The howling dark, twists my soul, let life be forgotten once more.
The dark cavern that is my chest lets even the brightest of lights die,
never can I rest, troubled times are all I have, I revel in my own misery
every night before the cold embrace of sleep takes hold of my sickened life,
words of lies to others is all I have, I pass each day with thoughts of sanity but
these thoughts of sanity cause my insanity, I hear the howling winds once more,
they taunt me, will my mind break from these sounds or will the wind end before the dawn.
