The foaming sea
The turtle stone
Marks the beach
I stride alone
Memories
Made of
Vain and venomous vipers
Stinging
Poisoning
The present
No longer pleasing
Convulsive flesh
No longer easing
But coughing
And wheezing
Snotting and sneezing
Waking to sleeping
Living while dreaming
Loving but leaving
I melt my skin
Loose what is within
My vice so called sin
Lay slip slip slipping
Drip drip dripping
Identity and vanity
Escape me
Eyes loosen from their socket
Lost picture burnt from
Mother’s never was locket
And I become the same salted sea
Distasteful, though birthing place
Of the entire human race
Drowning, oozing, and losing my illusions
Of once dear held humanity
Oh Beloved ,
may my love for you grow every day.
A seed of the Divine Light that
shines brightly in the dark places of my heart.

Oh beloved!
Words of your praise
become flourishing flames
surrounding me
consuming me whole
- they Ignite my sleeping soul.

May my soul awaken with a passionate breath
and a deep thirst for your love.
let your Divine flame burn in me,
so I may share your light in this darkened world.

**The world was
Shrouded in a shadow of non-existence;
It was Your Light that illuminated
the entire Universe .
May faces of those with faith shine brilliantly,
till we reach the destination of eternal felicity.

Let's break all the rules and laws of this society
and grow old with creative minds and young hearts
living in the worlds created by our demons
without the fear of getting lost or falling apart.
Maybe when this is all over
and the children will sleep peacefully at night,
we'll sit around the burning fire that
would be made out of  the bones of the dead
and sing the love songs underneath the open sky
as a tribute to those who have left.

You are either black, white or brown.
Not yet, don't frown at this myopic poem
It's just a momentary flicker of thoughts
Read till its home
Else don't dare judge.

I was saying,
When you look, this is what you may see.
People come in black, white and brown shading
At least, that's what the eyes reveal
So our treatment of each other follow these same shadings;
Black, white and brown.

"Blacks are dubious and evil
Whites are righteous, just a little corny
Browns are drug lords and...... something," don't ask me.

Racial conflict
Each struggling to be distinct
Superiority tussle
Utter show of psychological and mental muscle.
Complexity expunging simplicity
Even the weaver-spider is now entangled in its weaving.

If we will but wear our true and innocent eyes,
Everything we look perfect and right
But we have all lost our minds
Even flat grounds now make  tedious climb.

We are neither blacks, whites nor browns
We are just human beings,
Human beings that are lost
Lost in the refraction of many colours
Same which was designed to make us appreciate each other more.

Now pardon this Radom thoughts
Are we blacks, whites and browns
Or just human beings in different colour shading?
