In a world full of exceptional titans
They walk the lands and the world shakes
Talents forged in the highest forms of heaven

They scoop the gold glittering sun with their palms
Stars bow their heads as they twinkle with affection
The seas shake in fear and the world spins for them

I was overwhelmed,
Because who am I compared to this shining titans,
I was just a peasant farmer
Poor and helpless with nothing to boast of

She was drawn to all useless pieces,
All the hideous parts of everything, she loved
It was mysterious, yet it made sense

That's why she loved me,
Because I'm also made of broken parts

This day of love,
My heart slowly wants to crack
Slowly and foolishly weak
It starts to crumble into pieces,
Like stars that we once wished to in the sky

A wished selfishly forgotten by the gods
Loved washed away by tears of our broken hearts
But the Gods should remain still,
For this Valentines Day
My heart will never break apart

I look upon the other side of the world,
And I can still see you

In the darkest shades of the nights
Within the seven continents and the seven seas
Inside the busy streets and the dead cities
Even if my sight is fading into grey
I can still see you

But when I look at you directly in the eyes
It's like you're not even there

How does one even love?
When one's heart lost its warmth
No amount of bandage to mend my shattered soul

How does one feel?
When the shimmering sun has forever left my days
And the lonely nights cast a shadow

How does one even have happiness?
When joy slowly drifts away
As you look at my eyes and see no life within

How does one even live?
Even in the brightest days,
My life is dark

small letters for your naive soul
because no matter how big and meaningful words could be
words can't seem to fit in your small uncaring heart
