Brooklynn

I am unraveling from
the bandages of my youth
my eyes are
blind in the folds

all of these garments
like graves

I am surrounded,
ground down,
by this marble

the memories are following
flowing over me
like oceans of wind

all the salt has been
picked out of me
like panning for gold

running on and on
as feathers brush my mind
with messages
and I don't know
if this will ever
end

or if
like a fragment,
I will just run on
with no direction
until I abruptly
stop
with no warning

The hero, a brother
Brilliant in my view!

shows why representation
and identity was a factor
In the Wakanda nation.

I think Loving it
will be far better
Than hating it.

Is not about the Black race
But a serious matter
about our own place.

I'm happy

I'm happy
I don't have what I want
I have what I need.

I'm happy
I don't have a lover
I have people who truly love me.

I'm happy
Not because life is easy
But I have peace,
The kind that is not of the world.

There is peace if you have Jesus in your heart :)

I thought that
I should feel
Something

Thrill, euphoria
Lust, love
Or bliss

But no
I felt
Nothing

And I'm very sorry, I don't know what's wrong with me. You are everything I have ever wanted, but for some reason touching you leaves me blank. I feel nothing. And I am sorry.
