the trees
the trees
what ever happened
to the trees
once our scenery
had acres and acres
of trees
but over the years
we've purged
far too many trees

yet the trees are so vital
in the natural world's ecology
for their leaves perspiring assists
the rain cycle's hydrology

we've not replaced
the trees we've taken down
hence why we've now few of them
in our environment's crown

and our countryside
suffers prolonged dry spells
the trees were such
precious fillers of rives and wells

the trees
the trees
what ever happened
to the trees
once our scenery
had acres and acres
of trees
but over the years
we've purged
far too many trees

Gods1son
Mutual respect is the foundation
of any relationship
Understanding, trust and forbearance
are its building blocks
Any relationship should be beneficial
to all the parties involved
But if a party keeps taking advantage
of the other(s), that's parasitism
I will rather be alone than
being in a toxic relationship
Take that bold step to break free
from being a victim of parasitism
Cut loose, create room,
look within, set limits
before being a part of
any form of partnership.

Steady shadows wince
At the sunrise smiling wide
Seeing it's lover
Saying casual goodbyes
To it's famed fling named goodnight
