Put your nose in a book
Just read
Because
Nobody loves you
Anyways

But I think you're past that point in life
The point where
You stop trying to explain yourself
And just sigh

Maybe
You don't even do that anymore
You just
Stare

Sounds like there's more emotion in your heart now
Than there is
Water in the ocean
More thoughts racing through your head
Than there are
Stars in the sky

You'd be one to disagree
Not because it isn't true
But because
Of the one who is saying it

Your parents

Idiots

Genius
Is
How little words
You need
To
Express

You

Listen
To
Them
Talk

Sometimes
It's
So

Frustrating

It's okay
Just give them a quick answer
Anything
To
Get
Them
To

Stop

Now walk away
Go somewhere quiet

Read
In
Piece

If you can't find it at home

Find
A
Library

Chill there

Look how lonely you are
You're not gonna cry
You're strong

Nose buries back into the book
You are reading
But

You've got a headache

You're thinking
Too
Much

What if
Somebody
Wrapped their arms around you
Right now

Would you
Push them away
Or
Let them hold you for a moment

Imagine
You're holding you

And read
With love

remember to always follow your dreams.
starting this conditioning early instills the message so deep
that you're never quite aware, that in order to follow
your dreams you must first remain asleep
this is how they've created generation after generation
of obedient, self absorbed, consumerist sheep
where nothing is more precious to yourself then
the possessions that we keep
conforming to what's cool
owning the newest technology
and never looking cheap
join the hottest trends, stay in the loop
you're rising high on the social ladder
a fall from here is awfully steep
the fear of this fall turns you into a materialistic creep

these social constructs we all need to together break
or no one in our western society will ever truly be awake

Oh, oh
how you have saved the one I love
Through your words
Your songs
Your everlasting love
For those around you
And even after you.
Today I wish to celebrate you
Because your life is something
So special
That even I cannot
Seem to understand.
Please, keep my baby girl
Safe, oh
How she loves you so.
And oh,
How I love her.
John Lennon, she loves you ya know.
Sticks and Stones

Sticks and stones will
surely break bones
leaving scares we cannot hide,
but words can sting like bumble bees
when two wrongs simply collide.
Fractures can be fixed
while broken hearts reflect,
walls are built around the soul
if only to protect.
Sorry's such a simple word
though seldom ever said,
pride most often wins
harboring anger instead.
Sticks and stones we need not fear
it's the bruises we cannot see,
that hurt us must of all,
I honestly believe.

In a quest to be different
They all became
the same
A spaceless canvas of a beautiful dream
Spaces to see and spaces to dream
Myriad and countless in thousands they seem;
Distanced thoughts of an uncertain kind..
The swift strokes of a finer self
A breast of pain and the womb of death..
The Rampant search of a timeless man,
The Mystique brilliance of a madder dream..
Clawing to lose a searchless path
The Maya of me and the Maya of death
Spaces and spaces myriad they seem

To stand alone and To view apart
An un-poisoned brightness of a fewer whole
froth-less waves of a mid-life's depth
kindled flames, a rocking boat
Spaces and spaces to me they seem
(needs some editing..)
