Here I spin
Upon a wire
Strip my flesh
And stoke the fire
Bent so low
My soul breaks higher
Of empty hearts
and words
I tire :'(
Trying to keep my sanity. NOT an easy task these days.

And so
I took my
broken heart,
bloodied
and
abused,
in my own hands
and
I promised it:
'Never again'.
Whatever matter exploded
In the Big Bang, the first star
Whatever black dwarf or supernova
Scattered it's thousand atoms
Across space, time, universes
Whatever that supernova was
I believe mine and his were the same

I've always loved the stars
And I can see him in constellations
And see constellations in his eyes
His heart beats with my steady drum
I think I have known he was mine
And I was his, from the first breath

Across miles of space and years of time
I have always been, somehow,
Looking for him
I am happy to grow old
Getting older means
Getting closer to you
Just want to grow old with you.

There's a tower in the east w'th a wall of gold.
There's a beast in the tower whom guards his fold.
The Miser brays at who goes near.
When he gifts he dreads despair.
Unfortunate you keep the gift.
For the gift is cursed w'th miser's thirst.

thats okay
"I worry that’s how it is with first loves.

They wring your heart for all it’s got,

and then it’s over,

and you’ve got nothing left to give anybody else."
