Bookworm how I envy you
you live and ingest the written word
You have been around many volumes of knowledge
Taking it all in adsorbing it all
Living through those words and living because of them
Do you have a favorite type of book?
You may have even seen some famous authors
If you could write you would already know, many words
If I could let the words all sink in as well as you
I could be a remarkable student that is why I envy you
Should I be a bookworm too?
I once saw a real Bookworm once in a book I had been planning to read.
That and all the schoolwork recently has inspired this Random poem.
I hope you like it.

Don't let anyone steal your song.
Sing it bold.
Sing it long.
Sing it strong.
Carry on and hold on
to your song.
You know the notes to sing your song.
Let your voice fill the air,
Drive out doubt,
fear and despair.
No more troubles anywhere.
While you sing, Your Song
silly me for falling for his charm, there was no substance in it
silly me for falling for his charm, there was no substance in it
the smooth lines roped me in, I am but a fool
the smooth lines roped me in, I am but a fool
I am but a fool, silly me for falling for his charm
there was no substance in it, the smooth lines roped me in

after a time the clouds clear, all is visible to the eye
after a time the clouds clear, all is visible to the eye
the heart has no common sense, awakening from the dream
the heart has no common sense ,awakening from the dream
the heart has no common sense, after a time the clouds clear
awakening from the dream, all is visible to the eye

can't dwell on something untrue, too right
can't dwell on something untrue, too right
no love match ever eventuated, nothing was meant
no love match ever eventuated, nothing was meant
nothing was meant, can't dwell on something untrue
no love match ever eventuated, too right

the heart has no common sense, nothing was meant
silly me for falling for his charm, too right
can't dwell on something untrue, the smooth lines roped me in
no love match ever eventuated, awakening from the dream
I am but a fool, there was no substance in it
after a time the clouds clear, all is visible to the eye

I have been so busying studying
That I need a distraction
A break from the action on my computer screen
My mind is so full of random facts and data
I am getting a migraine
My brain needs a break
Should I bake a cake
or is that the stress talking
Maybe I should  be walking
I don't want to walk alone in the dark
I hope the neighbors dog don't start barking
I really need my sleep tonight
If my eyes were not so sore
I might just cuddle up with a good book
Thinking of a temporary distraction
My feet will make some traction on the kitchen floor
I will make a cup of Hot chocolate
read a poem or two
Sit in my lazy girl chair drink the hot chocolate
and think of the best distraction of all
All of my poetry friends
Have a good day or Night
I wish to thank you all for your wonderful poems
and your friendship :) :) :)

The best type of dreaming is done while wide awake

From the very moment that all of this started
The skies opened up the Red sea it parted
God took a rib from out of the man
And that is when all of the fun began

God don't make ugly girls
From beauty without to beauty within
God don't make ugly girls
And it's been that way from the beginning

He certainly had it right with Cleopatra
A beauty Queen, Royalty flattered
As men were fighting to win over her love
God in His wisdom from up above

Knows that he don't make ugly girls
From beauty within to beauty without
God don't make ugly girls
With that there is never a doubt

Mother Teresa in all of her glory
Did what was asked of the Father in her selfless story
Shinning a light for all to see
Giving her all for downtrodden humanity

Cause God don't make ugly girls
Never even tried it out cause he doesn't know how
God don't make ugly girls
From their beauty within to their beauty without

Showing throughout history
The beauty of woman is here to please
Truly a beauty to behold
From the glamour of young to the wrinkle of old

God don't make ugly girls
The beauty within you can't do without
God don't make ugly girls
And that my friend is what I'm talking about
