Waiting in these lines
Can be quite boring
At times
Any person in their right mind
Would find something to pass the time

The thing that I found
To occupy myself
Is to occasionally pull one off the shelf
Give it a look
Peculiar are these things
That fill the book
"they are powerful"
"i try to use them"
"to liften my mind"
"maybe someone will find"
"these confessions of my mind"
I wonder... if I wasn't too scared to cry
If someone would have helped me
Bare my mind

But within these lines
Are the thoughts
That cross my mind
Well, just the ones that prevent rest
The ones that keep me up at night
To say all, there would never be enough time
The lines are how I cope
With the things that tug my rope

Everyone smile!
Say cheese!
Cheese!
Everyone looks so happy
But these people all around me
By looking at these pictures
The looks of joy
Are just scriptures
The ones around me
Don't truly care
All the times I was there for them
They called themselves my friends
When I was in need
They were no where to be seen
Nothing to them is what I mean
All I was to them was a cheap buzz
Always wondering
Is it me?
I always ignored the possibility
These people...
They don't like me
They...
They just...
They just want to look good for the pictures
This poem is about all the people in my life that said they were my friends and said that they would be there for me. Growing up I always thought something was wrong with me because it always felt like no one cared about me. This poem is basically just describing that people only try to look good, not everyone who says they care truly do.

I can't stand this life of guessing
It's driving me insane
I wish you would talk
To spare me of this pain
Not all things are best left unsaid
All I want to hear is what's in your head
All the unknowns are eating at my brain
Soon there will be nothing left
Thoughts of what we could be
Gnawing, tearing my thoughts up
If I could catch all my tears in a cup
Who knows what I could fill...
Feedback is appreciated

Traffic
Does anyone like it?
Everyone runs
Into some

From time to time
Overwhelming it typically is
If you were a lone passenger...
If you are lucky enough to have companions
They can help you feel calmer
As long as you do not scare them...
There is no shame in asking for help

If you ever find your highway,
Clouded with traffic
To face it alone
Would be tragic
Having friends or someone to talk to
Can be almost magic
Ask them to guide you
Through the traffic
