We are each a colour
when it comes to feeling and loving
that's the mystery and wonder
beyond the realm of thinking-

but we should admit to this:
colours do not stay the same
there is a new message in every kiss
to which the lovers can't give an exact name
I fell in love with candlelight-
in my darkness, she shone so bright.
She danced the breeze, lit up the night,
her glow consumed my very sight.

But wax and wick both burn away,
and candlelight just cannot stay.
As sure as night turns into day,
that fickle flame will go astray.

But for a moment, through the storm,
she lit my world, she kept me warm,
then flickered out, as is the norm
for candlelight, its fleeting form.

I fell in love with candlelight,
for but a moment, all was right.
Her glow, her dance, consumed my sight,
and faded out at end of night.

Is it pathetic that after all this time I still over her?
very well then, I am pathetic
pathetic is me.
why is it that none can compare to her?
None ever have and none ever will.
This desert queen...
I'll love you always and should I ever get a second chance I would fall to my knees and ask you for your hand.
Not in marriage...
Well yes, also in marriage.
But in life. In love.
I'm sorry for who I was.
For the lies I said. I'm sorry for who I am. For the pain and confusion I cause.
I'm sorry for who I'll be. For life without you is no life at all. I can't see you in his arms. So I'll lock myself away.
Let my heart decompose.
Soulmates who met at the wrong time in life.
What a sorrow.

when did "want" become "need"
when did "bye" become "****"

when did "kisses" become "breathing"
when did "leaving" become "drowning"

A mouth that lies
Is a mouth unwise
And turns around
And pokes fun at my insides
And breaks my soul
And it bleeds out whole
So the thruth I withhold
Remains the thruth untold...
Man from a worm
And the egg without a shell
Weak and feeble at the start
Yet mighty and smart at heart

He subdues all he sees
And sadly succumbs to all he can't see
Man mighty and glorious
But still plagued by the invisible

Who created life,
And filled it with strife?
Eat today to be eaten tomorrow
Lose today only to win tomorrow

Who thought of an eye
And all the things that surprise?
Or the tongue and the good food?
And the skin, which feels good?

I stand in awe
Because life is full
All the creatures
Are unique
And posses a great technique

Who thought of a man
And gave him this form?
Two firm legs
And two strong arms
Eyes above all
A mouth that speaks
And a mind that imagines

Imagine how easy it is to breath
Think, or to make a conversation
Who gave us words
Numbers, colors and what we own?

Who gave him this mind
One of a kind
He settles not
And searches everything

He finds meaning in the stars
And his mind runs wild
He finds meaning in the sounds
And makes decisions

Man from a worm
And the egg without a shell
Weak and feeble at the start
Yet mighty and smart at heart

Man from a worm
Made by the unseen
From the seen
A biological machine
And a house for ghosts
