Feb 2019 A Touch Of Poetry
nivek
Grant a generous spirit
a light touch

quick to laugh
at oneself

to be freedoms child
always

to impart freedoms gifts
freely...

Amen. (so be it)
I fell into the arms of the night
Hugging the shadow of her silhouette
She pulled me in
And swallowed my eyes

Her fingernails
Traced my lips
As she took a bite

And I caressed her darkness
Without the need for light

Over curves and starkness
My hands were sight

Then she stood tall in the sky
Thick and wide

And as she laid over my body
She cloaked our delight

We played in sweat and Fahrenheit

And as she pitched black
She arched her back and began midnight

A few more hours
The sun came bright

       Then she disappeared
       And spit out my eyes

Lucid
i need you to hold me in your arms and let me cry
without asking questions, without wondering why
just hold my trembling body as my demons drip from my eyes

Who's flys above in atmosphere
Shines for one moment
Dark next second
Disappeared
