Smoked the nights' last cigarette
- dreaming of an oak home
- that I, so dearly, wish ta' get.

Where in which: I can spend time
- with a woman who've I fallen for
- drinking whatever, coffee, wine;
- the others' interior mind, we'd explore.

One in which: we could raise young
- and teach them compassion, love,
- teach them how to walk among
- their fellow humans with courtesy.

Alas, these are all but dreams that do pass
- through the foggy and blue skull o' mine.

Smoked the nights' last cigarette
- dreaming of an oak home
- that I'll likely never get.

Ay - tis' not likely
- something that I'll see
- before I die.
She slept amongst
my arms and
her pillow
sweet with
summery flowers
and we were
whole and i
regret not a
single day....

It Is You

You stand tall, handsome and confident today
A sweet smile on your face lasts along the way
You walk straight and take a step closer and closer to her
I've figured it out, because with her belongs your heart

Every smiles you shared together,
Is a treasure you kept in your heart forever
Thinking that this girl is the one you will marry
and you'll be sharing home and a life so merry

Everything look so perfect, right?
You always make sure that she's more than happy and alright
Because her happiness is your happiness
and to be loved by her love is your greatest success

She looks so stunning in that floral dress
Matched with the morning sunrise fresh,
You wonder how she can easily takes your breathe
You will hold her hand and your day was complete

It is going so romantic in the midst of sunset
with the both of you, savoring every moment
the birds will sang beautiful love songs in chorus
Lost in each other's bright brown eyes but still in focus

When everything looks perfect, there comes a disaster
The calm sunset clouds turned into a gray monster
What is this turn of events? she will run away
Away from her superhero, from you she went astray

They said, love moves in mysterious way
But then it is more mysterious why love has to break
Your heart that once full of love screams her name
While you left there with stains of tears hoping that she'll came

How many days and nights will passed
Why are you still looking behind what is past
The sunrise and sunsets you treasured are gone
But your heart still beats for the girl you used to call "the one"

It is very different and strange this morning
That you woke up today without her "good morning!"
And you are now become a stranger,
trying to know your identity without her

You realized that you don't have a broken heart or probably just miss her kisses
You realized that you have a broken self shattered into million pieces
But then you did your best to pretend and convince yourself
When the totality of you still screams her name and you pretend to be deaf

How many months and seasons will passed
Why are you still looking behind what is past
You've unconsciously search for the answer
But it just end up thinking that you will always love her

The truth you will never knew is right in front of you
Because if there's one who love more, it is you
Because if there's one who gave it all, it is you
Because if there's one who sacrificed the most, it is you

The one who loves more is the one who has the most pain
The one who gave it all is the one that nothing gains
The one who sacrifice the most is the one who left in blue
And that one is no other than you
I've written this to be dedicated to those who loved, but didn't get their happy endings.

What if we are like the branches of a tree, devoid of leaves as winter takes its first few victims? Will we ever grow past the frozen areas entagled in our viens? Nothing in our path ever seems to thaw out completely. This thing we dare call a we...suppose it's truly just a motion of hope, stuck in perpetual winter. There is no warmth, no means of escape. It's a challenge to foresee a future that isn't fixated on the "what ifs" of winter, when logical answers are only contained in Spring.

Spring was always my favorite season. Seemingly answering all of the unspoken questions that crowded my sanity. Maybe it was the soothing feel of dew mingling across the lawn that settled the nerves of my ever running imagination. Or the simple knowledge that Spring allowed growth after the deadliest of times. Spring was for cuddling up & gliding hands. There's something peculiar about a season of comfort & familiarity, trailing a season of doubt & bitter coldness. As if Spring was the solidarity force welding my pieces together once again. Unlike Winter, Spring allowed me to leave on a whim. Caressing my mind so that it could discern my desire to visit summer.

The snow is thin and pale today
like that girl –
you thought –
from the Home Depot –
the palette of an empty day

I think, instead
to smooth my hand along your arm
extend dominion 'cross your chest
To till the damp ***** of your shoulder
in surging heat
of earthen tones
to find in winter flames
your brow, your cheek, your neck

...your mouth that way...

This is the braille I'm all about
being far-sighted
and just too close
to even focus on you –
your eyes –
and all
the loss
these days
Love is something I knew not of until you came into my life.
I never felt happiness like this.
The tingling in my heart comes from you.
The constant smile on my face comes from you.
I didn't know a man like you even existed.
You shook me baby.
But here's the thing, I'm damaged goods.
My heads all over the place and I could be insecure.
I'll yell, catch an attitude, and sometimes drive you up the wall.
But, I promise I'm worth it.
I'm not perfect and I'll never be, but my love for you will be endless.
I'll love you on every good day and bad day.
I'll love you during your frustrations and when you feel the lowest.
I'll love you now and always.
For you, the man of my dreams.
You have lost your creativity
he says
looking sad and disappointed.

I have only switched my focus
she responds
looking happy and content.
