Passion is born
From chemistry
And the human touch
Combine that with love
And you're off
In a rush
Such desperate haste
When passions connect
Climbing to pinnacles
So sweet
To collect

She is the beginning
As well as the end
The best part of the middle
Then start over again

The sweet part of the taste
On the tip of your tongue
The wisdom of old
The giggle of young

She is the breeze
That blows in the Spring
The long distance call
That brings you close with the ring

The moment you hear
Someone say yes
She is the mystery
That hides in the guess

She is the hope
That you hold onto
The talk of the town
The brand in the new

The little crease
At the edge of the smile
She's the bees knees
The answer to why

She is all this and
She is all that
When it comes to it all
She's where it's all at
30 years ago today I married the love of my life...
We've had our ups and downs but over all it's been a wonderful ride!

It was all just a dream so real
that night we had such fun
I dreamed we got closer,
hanging on like one
And when my dream went deeper
The laughter went along
And soon I came to notice
the night  could not go wrong
I let ten happy fingers
go running through your hair
My appetite for you
was heating up the air
The lacy silk upon your chest
revealed a sweet outline
Where there were two impressions
I kissed one at a time
The fantasy was beautiful
That lovely night I spent
And dreams don't make you guilty
when you see the fallen tent

awakening autumn air
absorbed with thrown caution
a penchant for yawning leaves
an affinity for desiccated hearts

stirring lakeside willows
whisking emotions away
wafting feminine fragrance
in walking women's wakes

moving to its own designs
gusting in pursuit of change
swirling clouds of romantic disarray
into dizzying vortexes of possibility

expanding the bellows of intimacy
lovesmith for glowing molten souls
passionately ignited, vulnerably cooled
forging bonds, tempering existence

I must know...

the smell of your blowing hair
   in the leaf-strewn autumn wind

the touch of your hand on my chest
closely held in a sleepy winter bed

the sight of your eyes lit with wonder
for the beauty of spring's first flowers

the sound of your voice calling my name
through a window from a summer garden

...and as the cycle renews...

the taste of your fertility
under the cover of a harvest moon

...there simply aren't enough seasons
to gain a complete sense of all that you are

I am in love
For the first time
In the briefest of moments
On the shortest of days

I am in love
With a person of great value
Whose opinion has a voice
Who found peace within

I am in love
With a heart that is ever overflowing
Eyes that see beauty in all things witnessed
Lips that speak naught but truth

I am in love
Completely and utterly
With the utmost honesty
With the promise to remember this feeling always

For I am in love
In the briefest of moments
On the shortest of days
With the person I have finally become

I am in love

I wish it could be different,
I wish there was another way,
If only for the sake of your children,
I would have liked to stay.

I came into your life a few years back,
When you were looking for a man,
I’ve tried to help anyway I could,
But I’ve done all that I can.

Your kids took to me from the start,
And they always called me ‘Dad.’
You even told me more than once,
That I was the best they ever had.

But you just used me from the start,
And there were signs along the way,
Cheating and lies, barely disguised,
It was the same thing every day.

I just can’t go on wasting my life,
Giving you my best years,
Too many nights I ended up alone,
Lord knows I’ve shed some tears.

Your daughter’s at a tender age,
And I hate to make her cry,
It’ll be years before she understands,
Why it has to be goodbye.

Tell your son I’ll miss him,
And tell your daughter too,
I’ll have to say very frankly,
I hope they don’t turn out like you.

I offered you my heart and soul,
And you left it on a shelf,
The time has finally come to pass,
For me to take care of myself.

Don’t bother trying to look for me,
For I’ll have somebody new,
The one thing I can say for sure,
Is that someone won’t be you.

There was a House Speaker named Boehner
Who went forth without any honor
He did his best to hurt Obamacare
To damage the folks with no hospital care
He killed every bill that came to the House
He's sorry you'd say like the sorriest louse
Then Obama's army got ready to roll
Barach showed us methods we all could extoll
That got the people insurance at last
Poor Boehner he cried like he's done in the past
Then he fought every tax to help people on high
To get all their votes when November comes by
But there is a Father in Heaven above
Who whispered no man can win without love
Then Boehner tried suing  and shamefaced us all
Voters said Boehner  was losing his *****
Then he failed to effect immigration
And stifle the strongest of nations
He flunked with each program he wanted to win
Soon Boehner will be on the streets once again
So all will be well in the dear U.S.A.
There'll be no Boehner to get in the way
he...he...he

Fingertips descending spines
Causing Bodyquakes

Delicate mist of kisses
Covering peaks and valleys

Mahogany stretched towards the heavens

          Oceans of eagerness

                    An arch of bliss

Fainting breaths

          Dying with Desire
To be Born in your Love

These thoughts are looping through my mind

                    I must have you

                                   Once More

               Just

                               Once More

Until...

                                 The next time
