the sky was full of wishes..
but all i wanted was her..

I dressed and put on my perfume

That's when it hit me
I wasn't dressing to see you

Most naked
Most raw
Nature of human kind.

emotions channeled through my fingertips
    typing words my coward lips could never speak
gently pressing buttons, expressing how i miss
       the times we never - we would've - had,
          dampened my lips, sealing it with a kiss.

                               and as i press send,
                                    i'd hope you'll reply.
                                you didn't.
                        you don't.
