All these birds
Hundreds of thousands, maybe millions
Flying in packs
Flowing in unity like a river knows its own
They swarm, they swerve, all together
Rhythm as pure as the pollen they will resonate to
Never missing a beat
Never a silhouette missing its defining moment
They must head for the sun
They must chase down the light
The unforgotten, which guides them to comfort and safety
I question can the human spirit ever be this in sync?
Can they form a union and be integrated as beautifully and unconditionally such as this?
And yet, repeat in a traditional and annual sense?
Did anyone else witness this?
Did anyone else feel this moment?

Fading friendships
Fading love
Fading family
Seems like life is fading away
Or maybe it is just me who is fading away
Will someone please come light my fire?
I'm in need of an eternal flame.

Our time here is getting shorter
Yet years are going by faster
Nobody has any spare time anymore
If anything, can we just fade the time?
Days turn into weeks, which turn into months, and before you know it, years have gone by

I want to climb up onto your arms
And hang from your limbs
Until I am out of breathe and restless.
Let me embrace freedom,
By taking this to new heights,
As I seek new adventure among you

I want to be the bee that delves into your bark
And waits to draw nectar from you.
I want to be the black widow
Which crawls along you, sheltering its web among you.

I want to be the bird that perches itself
On your branches, after its quest for refuge.
I want to be the squirrel that travels
Up and down your neck, searching for its secret hideaway.

I want to be the roots that stem from you,
That cultivate growth and maintain your balance among the land.

I don't care what I'd have to be or where I'd gave to go.
I just know,
I find peace and comfort
Each time time I dream about secret pleasures of my weeping willow.

Like thread in the tapestry,
So delicately woven,
With intricate detail,
Vibrant design, and such precise pattern,
We were once alive and full of life.

Our creation became a masterpiece.
A unique piece, significant to the rest,
Handcrafted with genuine love;
We devoted time,
With pure emotion
We didn't care for slight imperfection.

Our foundation has now become worn out,
As if our colours have been faded by the rays of the sun.
Little rivets show signs of wear and tear.
No longer an original,
It seems more like a hand me down.
One that has just been collecting dust,
Or has been settling inside the wooden chest,
Stored away in time.

If you wish to bid farewell of this work of art,
Please lay it down with gentle ease
There's no need for it to be a burden any longer.

One man's trash,
Just still may be another's treasure.

I'd like to inject you with a vile of happiness
Pop you a dose of awareness
Let you breathe in a cloud of kindness;
You are so full of negativity
It is aging your image
And rotting you to the core;
Let me spark the fire within you
Open your eyes to the light
Be rid of the pessimist
Blow away the dark cloud haunting you
And watch you shine brightly
Until positivity is crystallized among you.

rantipole
i'll miss you till earthquakes
stop shaking the ground.
i'll miss you till rain clouds
stop flooding the town.
i'll miss you in silence
and miss you in screams.
i'll miss you as fire
engulfs all our dreams.
i'll miss laughing and crying
and holding you close.
i'll miss you when all
that remains is my ghost.
i'll miss you while lonesome,
waiting outside your door.
i'll miss you forever
and forever more.
i'll miss you my dearest,
i'm sorry to go.
i loathe my decision
but it must be so.

If you want to play,
Lets play Scrabble,
We can mix up our letters,
And make fun with our words.
Let's play Monopoly,
We can pretend we have fancy cars
And spend money like we own it.
Oh, I got it...
Lets play Life!
We can pick our own jobs
And buy temporary houses.
If you want to play,
Let's do this.
Please, just don't play with my heart.
