Sanaa
Dear beautiful evergreen
rooted down in the field
strongly upholding itself
like it has an impenetrable shield

The one that has experienced blazing summers
and freezing winters
not only seen warfare
but watched it from the center
winds blew it west and east
but it never went left or right
had blood on its leaves
but never got into a fight

Dear beautiful evergreen
That stands there all yearlong
keep your roots rooted
and continue to be strong

Measure my love in starlight
And set the sky ablaze
Measure my love in words
And eternal speak my beloved’s praise

Measure my love in raindrops
And overflow the seas
Measure my love in sighing
And make storms from a summer breeze

Measure my love in music
And hear all the world’s choirs sing
Measure my love in riches
And make every pauper a king

Measure my love in heartbeats
And deafen every ear
Measure my love in laughter
And banish every tear

Seek to measure my love as some might wish
By consulting the learned or wise
But each effort will fail, because such a scale
No mortal thought can devise
.
She had a seductive pout
Which excited me - I admit it
I thought I might take her out
And just one bullet did it.

i think that hell itself
is not red and fire filled,
i believe that it is the girl
clothed in black,
that she lurks in the shadows
trying not to be noticed

or maybe, she is not hell
but hell is inside of her,
and she just wants to get it out
she just wants to let go

Can't stop
Won't stop
Feeling things
Buried in emotions
Like wet sand
At that beach
I never asked to be here

They're funny
With that strange edge of sincere
I'm basking in their shadows
They're looking in my mirror
rllly don't like this but whatever
