"strenth" poems
Im sorry I whisper ashamed into your ear
There was power strenth and wisdom
that ran through me
Im lost and I might have giving up
I feel nothing
Everything is numb
Im stuck but maybe
Not completely hopeless

The color of my Skin.
My deep, dark eyes.
The curl of my Hair.
I can feel your the heat vindictive stares.
The twist of my tounge.
I speak my language with courage,
Not with care of your fears
Illigal Alien, They call my kind.
All I want is a place thats mine.
Nomatter, I'll continue to stick out
Like a sore thumb, I will not run
from your vengance.
I'll stay here and take it.
You held power over them
but never over me.
My curly hair runs long, wild, and free.
You have lost the fear held
in the eyes of my uncolonized ancestors.
Now I face you with strenth
My dark eyes like stone cold pools of depth that
you tried to breed out.
Como un bailador,
I'll twist away from your nasty tricks.
I'll thrive, Child of the sun.
Brown I am.

The sound of silence:
silence has the emotion of sound
silence is the whitness of the cloud
silence has the voice of the rain
silence is the baackbone of pain
silence is the grace within the art
silence is like whistle in the dark
silence embraces your fear
silence deepens your tear
silence echoes your mind
silence straightens the line
silence surrounds the world
silence connects with love
silence is the strength during the fear
silence is the fear behind the strenth
silence is like death to the life
silence is like a life to the dead

Within some of us are the story's
Of anxiety, depression, ocd or eating disorders
Judging voices, let me tell you, we do not need your pressure, or the question of 'can't you just make yourself better?'
Or the phrase it's a phase, we don't seek your attention, we are fighting our battles and do not need condescension
There are days, the act of trying creates an inexplicable ache
And our strenth and perseverence seems to crumble and break
We are mental warriors, not perfect, but fighting for the right to feel okay
So though you are trying, keep your comments at bay

Have the ***** to face me
if like a coward you erase me
from your memory
do not run scared like a fleabitten *****
(i never could believe you were like this)
if like a civil war surgeon you rip out every stitch
of me
from your memory
look me in the eye
tell me that what you do is not a lie
show me you have the strenth to do it
because i don't have it, can't find strength like that
look me in the eye and prove it
(she couldn't do it.)

no-one shall ask you to be real
no-one shall say you failed
only you
no-one shall annoint you
no-one shall yield to you the needed strenth
only you
omly you shall know if you were true
only you are your own truth
only you only you
only you
only you can love LOVE-itself
all of the yous
all of ther yous and mes
that are the world

I afore
So enamor'd of the thought
Did open up my heart
And let misguided light seep in
Mistaken was I
Though as touch'd by dying light
Trying much to hold on
To what was not
Affix'd was I
Hath grown fond of subtle pain
Did steal me of my strenth
And rob me of my hope
I thought I shan't allow such to pass again
No love is worth such sorrow
Alack and erewhile
And sun shines on the 'morrow
I thought I shan't allow such to pass again
Standing in the sun and in the rain
Whither I met you
And knew you as a friend
I wist and I am fain
Twixt the twain
The teen that what hath seen
I lief to love again
