Ace fashion designer Rajesh Pratap Singh, who recently collaborated with Kullu-based handloom weavers Bhuttico for a collection, says he is passionate about the handloom industry which is his source of inspiration. Rajesh Pratap and Bhuttico’s fashionable affair was held in Kullu last week and highlighted the farm-to-fashion journey of Merino wool which is part of the Woolmark Company’s Grown In Australia, Made In India initiative.

“I am extremely passionate about the handloom industry as it is the primary source of my inspiration. I love the versatility of Merino wool, especially since it’s so easy to work with and supports various techniques and blends,” Rajesh Pratap said in a statement.

The designer, who is known for using Indian textiles and for working with ikat, presented a menswear and womenswear collection. The special line focused on the handloom journey of Bhuttico and their rich legacy.

The collection was a juxtaposition of clean lines and colourful weaves, and highlighted Rajesh Pratap’s signature minimal aesthetics and intense construction.

The designer feels “the fashion fraternity has constantly been striving to highlight the textile and handloom industry in India”.

“Owing to our country’s rich heritage each state adds another dimension of culture which is also captured beautifully by our weaves,” he said.Read more at:http://www.marieaustralia.com/formal-dresses-canberra | www.marieaustralia.com/plus-size-formal-dresses

Likewise Mr. Phalke would be equally delighted to receive the Dharmendra Award
Pratik Routray Aug 2020
It’s a topic close to my heart,
a constant in my weird mind,
since I remember I could think,
A constant wherever you go
from Shangri-la to Timbuktu.
A magical glue,
capable of binding the masses.
Here comes the question to ponder upon,
how can something that can bring people together,
motivate them to slit the throats of fellow earthly travellers?
WHY? I ask in bold,
you say your religion is perfect and the greatest
and proclaim me a non-believer
I ask you, dear sirs and madams,
how can violence ever be great?
how can division ever be great?
I have carried this burden way too long
and its time to spit it out
I may hurt a few people,
but truth only hurts the people,
with blinds over their eyes,
refusing to perceive the truth staring at their face.
Religion is a system,
a man-made device,
and anything made with thine hands
has thine flaws.
Every religion points us in the direction of the one,
Allah, Jesus, Krishna — the names are not the point
they could have been Mohammed, Sally, Rajesh for humanity’s sake!
The one thing I am sure of is a superior power,
To whom I look up to fill my soul with strength and peace,
whom I look up to in my darkest hours.
Stop burning and massacring each other,
under the commands of few mighty and wealthy,
who brainwash you and manipulate the flaws of the system.
Your religion is not superior nor is your God,
The God is one and you all are the members of different groups,
taking the journey to a common destination.
Don’t believe the sham of the religious cons
and let your soul lead the way to your destination.
My take on the religions of the world.
But I Remember The Day

Dedicate to
(Prof.) Mr. P.M Meena
(Head of Department-English)
Late. Rajesh Pilot Govt. P.G College, Bandikui, Rajasthan

You don’t remember  the day
When you rebuked me for talking in class
During your lecture
But I remember the day.

Some day I was unknown to you
I was a normal class student to you
Time by time we came closer to each other
And finally in me something you discover .

How can anyone foget someone’s favour
As same  how can I forget my saviour
Whatever today I am jut because of your personally touch
How can I bound your glory in words which is so much.

Always keep blessing me
So that new dreams I can see
Bless me to fly in the dark rolling sky
With your blessing I will ***** my head high.

Truly you gave me understanding of things
Truly to fly you gave me the wings
You carried me to the light from darkness
Because of you I have found true happiness.

Very Happy Birthday Sir !!
