"quixotes" poems
From shelves and racks, or lying in stacks, Books, Of all ages and epochs—adolescents and youths, Aged and venerable, and e’en those in decrepitude, Much eloquent, but in all silence, share with us Experiences wide ranging, emotions well pent up, Passions, love and hate, and joys and sufferings, Triumphs, failings, histories, biographies and maxims. A pat or stroke, or appeal in awe, or in supplication, They’d unleash to you, in varied moods and temper, Their stories, in letters, words, phrases, sentences; In prose or verse on folios, or in acts and scenes, Of Helens, Quixotes, Falstaffs, Holmes and Othellos, In the highs and lows of their pleasures and pathos, Of Lears, Tristans and Isoldes, and procrastinators. Of the plucks and spirits of Arjunas and Achilleses, Of the failings of the ill-fated Kareninas and Bovaries, Of the unwavering faith of Jobs, Noahs and Abrahams, Of the lovelorn Sakunthalas, and Sitas under Simsupa, Of God’s Garden, and of the wisdom of the Himalaya, They speak in silence, of the real and the imagined, As mighty godlike genies waiting for our summons!

SILENT ELOQUENCE
Quixotes is a dream, It's a fireplace and songs Its strong friendship and beautiful moments shared It's a thought that guides souls to a peaceful way It's wood and brick paint and posters built with gentle care and loving soul Quixotes is a world away from the world where dance is freedom Laughter and joy are the air we breath Song a rich tapestry that tells the tale of how we came to be Song a river that has flowed thru our lives in this palace, in this beautiful dream Quixotes is a sweet jem sparkling in the sun forever home for our hearts

SILENT ELOQUENCE
The buttery eye of a butterfly caught my sigh slipping shy to the windowsill where your lips spill insomnia powering watermills undefeated by the modern Don Quixotes. My muse breathes in higher frequency... I'm telling her to stop... Stop. My thoughts don't rely on my lungs anymore for they have organs of their own... as well as separate agendas. They paint you psychedelicate, frail and yet invincible. Murderously vulnerable. Violently tender. The hunted is the hunter. The femme fatale.
