Strudel and homebrew

Run.
'Cause I have to pursue you,
You got me with voodoo,
Who does it like you do?
None.
Overcome with the new you,
Swept in the word,
Of a curse,
Of a homebrew:
Fun.
I knew that I knew you,
But all that I've been through
Is enough to give into.
Come.
Come with me and we'll run to
A place where the sun dew
Is run through with rainbows
And all that is come due.
Want to?

I wonder about freedom.
A universal right to be,
who and what and where we want,
gripe and moan  and even taunt.
Type in our own, homemade font.
Or, launch a raft into the sea.

To find a place that
is more liber-ated, still.
But greed turns choice to tyrany.
The motto? Give it all to me!
Need a house? Chop down a tree.
Each day is such a thrill!

Until those pitter patters
Turn into stomping boots.
Asking who will pay the bill?
Tearing down each homebrew still.
Whats for dinner. More pig swill?!
We're looking for recruits.

Who want to live a better way
In a world much less corrupt.
We'll have good rules to keep in us line
So prisons won't explode again this time.
With committers of some petty crime.
Or just failing to keep up.
The Illusion.
That
Freedom is.
The Final solution.
Brainstorming, concentrating
panning... for poem
idea shattered brew
tilly by deafening seasonal
greensward cutting crew
contracted throughout summer to mow

leaves of grass
every Tuesday, which drew
attention toward fragrant aroma
seeping into nostrils
of me - match hew,
heavily negated true

quiescence courtesy ear splitting
soundcloud of driving
mowers even moo
ving bovines would
clap cloven hooves
over soft as lambs wool

sensitive hearing micro corkscrew
innards, viz their *****
shaped audiological
anatomical accouterments -
cow word lee lowing Jew
pitter Io sliver by jove whew

once silence returns
(after cessation rip snorting bedlam)
savoring the hum of nature anew,
and moost likely relish
fresh cut leaves of grass
as I inhale analogous

delectable waft of homebrew
albeit molecules borne aloft
after sharp heavy duty blades
of industrial riding mowers bestrew
higglety pigglety, helter skelter
juicy fruit chlorophyll rich

plants releasing nectar
sweet as honeydew
olfactory imbibing nostalgic view
of yesterday, when agrarian farmsteads
populated landscape picturesquely
anointing, exuding, messaging...

perfuming faint clue
intimating rural lifestyle forebears
hapt tubby privy too,
where deer and antelope played
unaccosted by impending urbanization,
hence such idyllic serene rue
man nation - visage you

would probably concur
as most divine comity
worth more than any buckeroo
could purchase - vestiges vanishing
without a trace adieu
mother nature nowhere found
except caged up within zoo.
If only i could say the right words and it'd bring you back
You always kept the family on a righteous path

I wish we could have done more of the same for you
All the craziness we've put you through
You were the most loved now that you can trust
You had the strongest heart out of any of us
The kind of tough love some of us never get you always gave
Some of the things you've done are the reasons why I'm brave
never scared to tell it like it is
To your own or someone else's kid

There are so many things I never got to ask you
Like what's the recipe for keeping the family together as you do
Something so special, like a homebrew
It was your own special family glue

You always made sure we stuck together for better or worse
I think this is why your death really hurts
I'm far from speechless
the things I never got to say to you has to be my weakness
I never got to show you how I grew into my own uniqueness

I got a lot of my love from you and my mom, I'm not here to throw shade
I just want to make sure the words I never got to say are paid
In full, consider this an I owe you
Youll always be in my thoughts until the day I go too

I love you **** Dilfia
Ah... already the summer
approaches closing time,
but yours truly can squeeze
one more rhyme
before September first,
thus the following lines after...

Oh yes,
swimming trunks are for beefy hunks, but  the ***-bellied brigade, me and the wobbly jelly brigade wear plus fours and pretend we're off golfing not gawking at the girls,

but we are all shapes and more sizes and that always surprises me when I'm off for a day at the sea
which is not often these days.

summer is coming as if you didn't know
tans and fans and ice cream to go,
there'll be
sand between your toes and up your nose
other places too,
postcards to say, wish you were here
kiss me quick hats and warm Southern
beer, because you won't be in Morecambe,

nay lad,
tha'll be more likely to be in Ilfracombe
or Woolacombe
now tha's got a bob or two.

I'm at home
feeding the pigeons and
supping homebrew
because that's what,
real Northerners do.

Witches homebrew
Toad of frog fantastical
the tongue of dog snarling
High on octave,
blind snakes gather too
Howls of another's dream
The old crow crinkles
The Headless cutter reigns
Bats blood swirls
Swallows on a wing
Roots of hemlock persist
