Inside the nation exposed to painfluencers,
having original anything is
aristocratic.

Shall a prisoner thank the walls of his cell for standing solid?

Shall a slave thank the whip to make him work more?

Why are you where you are?

Between the walls and the whip

Who you are sits still independent of both.

Paradise must be out there somewhere
Paradise was never given to me
Paradise can be found
Paradise can be made

she said you are prisoner of your feet
a rootless tree on fleet!

I said no one told me
I needed to fit
I walk to find, to meet
all of it

she didn't realize what
she wanted to mean
I am incapable of
arriving

She walked away a while later
but I told to her wake.
My heart sure is higher than my feet
yet never without, not even a beat.
This poem explored self-awareness through relationship dynamics of a couple. It hints how communication between two might have multiple levels despite both not being fully aware.
