When you fall,
you learn to rise alone.

When you fall,
you learn to overcome alone.

When you fall,
you learn about yourself.

When you fall,
you learn about the people around
you.

When you fall,
you learn more lessons.

If my heart pours out
If the rains turns to snow
Then my heart shall find rest
To the delight of the world

If a cry for blood burns like a fire
In the far land of kasheki, then the song of the heartland shall be sung by the hyena's

If the moon shodows it's beauty under the blue skies
A roar shall be heard in the sea deepth

To the voices of the earth
I just want to sing beneath the sun
beneath the clouds
If the words that we say sometimes mean less in this life of uncertainty then we ought to do better for the greater good.
together
the first flower bloomed
with her sisters
we watched it waver
as storms weeped
and weathered
we planted more seeds
of glowing hope
wishing, one day
we could see
it flourish
into a beautiful garden
we could explore
forever
If you are seeking
May you find what you’re looking for
And if you don’t find what you’re looking for
May you be found by what is seeking you

Camp in my body like a refugee
Speak to me like a stranger
Show me the wealth with in
I seek all day long for you because I sowed a seed of hope
This body may grow weak but You are impeccable
The hunger and thirst for your goodness burns like a fire with in
Shine your light to my heart and soul
To declare Your worth

A mother calls out to her little one
Listen to what I say child of my own
Up lift your hands for the blessings cry out
The precious gift of life lies here with you child of my own
The stars and galaxies and all that are with in measure not to this ecstasy
My heart shall always beat with this endless love
You are a song in the night child of my own
And now this joy will forever be witnessed till the skies fade away
Dedicated to my mom
