Death is stalking me.
It watches me play cards,
smoke cigarettes, and
drink beer.
It took my parents, two
brothers, and all my friends.
It got Chris last week.
20 bottles of whiskey in
seven days, I suppose that
would **** anyone.
They found him on the
railroad tracks.
Death is stalking me.
I won't cheat it.
I won't escape it;
but before it gets me,
I bet I finish
this poem.

We're naked in you car baby
Driving slow
Are we're doing this or not baby?
Let me know
We're losing heat and losing fast lately
I'm getting cold
If we're nothing take the next bend drop me at home

guns they fire planes they roar
soldiers fight to win the war
bombs are dropping all around
as they explode along the ground

lives are lost and people cry
lives so young that have to die
giving life to fight the cause
to live in peace with no more wars

Upcoming alarm on my phone
  All I have to do is push
       Dismiss
The signal sounds and I'm prepared to move forward or snooze
DO I risk moving on
Or catching zzzz's
Will it really make a difference
I've been  forewarned
The answer ahead
    Relies on me
