The Apache
The Centurion Jul 2020
I'm silent and swift as the night.
You'll never know when I'll spring and fight.
I'll fight you in the canyons or on open ground.
While you'll look frantically all around.

I'll scream and howler to strike you with fear.
I'm the wolf, while you are the deer.
Tomahawk, bow or knife.
Are the tools I use to take your life.

My Dearest Amanda
The Centurion Dec 2017
I'm sorry for all the pain I put you though.
I don't want my Angel Baby to be blue.
I don't know why I start meaningless fights.
Making you feel lone during these winter nights.
Someone ruined me to where I couldn't fall in love.
But you changed me my Angel Baby from above.
You are the love of my life in every which way.
I hope in the end you decide to stay.
You deserve better than the way I'm treating you.
You're an amazing woman and that is true!
I love you and hope you forgive me one day.
I fear you'll just leave me and go far away.

Promise
The Centurion Sep 2017
Every day I put on a fake smile.
Wondering if I can keep going for a while.
Asking myself if I want to live today.
Or be like the sunset and fade away.

But as  the sunsets, it rises again.
For I know this is not my end.
I'll keep going through the struggle and strive.
Hustling and grinding to get that millionaire life.

I refuse to be another statistic.
I have to be positive and optimistic.
That I will see this life through.
My demons won't conquer me and I know this to be true.

My heartbreak story
The Centurion Mar 2017
First day we met I thought you were so beautiful.
No one could tell me any different this was irrefutable.
I caught feelings for you like a fool.
What was I thinking you would go for me in high school.
I used to make you laugh and make you smile.
Seeing you happy keep me going for a while.
We used to sit outside for hours looking at the stars.
Tell each other how this world was going to be ours.
I felt like J. Cole straight power trippin.
Wondering if I was going to be part of your life decision.
But I should've known better from your tone.
I was only good for you in the friend zone.
Instead you'd date guys who are bad from the start.
Who would do nothing other than just break your heart.
Of course I'd be there to comfort you, saying you were strong.
Wondering why I couldn't be your boyfriend all along.
Fast forward years later I finally told you how I felt.
When you didn't feel the same way my heart started to melt.
You made me feel  alone and broken.
Filled with  overwhelming emotion.
Everyday I try to forget about you.
Knowing love is never true.
Because of you, I play women like an imposter.
You're my Dr. Frankenstein girl, and I am your monster.
