The sandman eludes me...

The hours find me wakeful.

My lungs ingests fatuity
while my heart harbours entropy.

Sleep never comes soon
when thoughts dishevelled,
amass to engulf the twilight moon.

To a point where fatigue has taken me...
But still I lay wakeful.

Awaiting the sandman's return,
with the promise of sanctuary.

A very light green
Lots of different colors
In Fall it will fall

we all know what goes on inside
a broken heart
like that parched lonely plant
craving for a drop of rain
do not go by the picture they present
to the eyes that see
a form that exists and will survive,
is crying out for help inside
try to listen or it will die
don't leave, don't leave oh passerby
feel, touch and heal
a broken heart
troubled families behind closed doors
before they **** themselves
and you'll wonder
what worries gnawed at the people that seemed fine
don't leave, don't leave oh passerby
pause and look for a while
the universe is your family
help and heal
these gaping wounds..
and hence you shall heal yourself.
These are not
petals unfolding
and I am not light
but a daydream
drifting

These are not
lips savoring
and I am not night
but the darkness
awakening

These are
reddened skies
and I am but the dawn
a woman
breaking
REPOST
When I receive messages within minutes of posting, from two poets on HP I admire and respect, inquiring about the break in format on the last stanza, I know that I haven't been as clear as I could have been.  I love getting the loves, but your discerning eyes are the true gold here. Thank you so much to David Adamson and PoetryJournal for taking the time to ask for clarity.  I love the discussion!  Hope the change makes all the difference...

*red sky at night, sailor's delight - red sky in morning, sailor's warning...*
Lighten up dear
Do not shed a tear
The pain will be gone soon
Maybe not tomorrow or at noon
It will all be Chrystal clear
The end is not near
The pain will be gone soon
Like an escaped balloon
Into the skys of a summer day
Gently floating, fading away.
All I've seen in this site are these heart breaking poems. Just wanted to cheer you all up.
