I never hid behind my mothers dress
I had shy, wide-eyed, crooked eyes,
was surprisingly quick with two left feet.
I liked the summer for the sweet grass
and mud pies and the boys
were my favorite to kiss but the girls
were so soft
I'm homeless now
You were my home
My only home in the ******* world
You're gone now
Too many memories I can't erase
Can you feel it?
Can you?
Sometimes at night, I can feel something wrapping around my bones
C r u s h i n g me
S u f f o c a t i n g me
Can you feel it?
Can you ******* feel it?
this is horrible but it's 8:00 and I haven't had coffee yet
