*Painted in shades that resemble your smile
Soft on the coast rests a raspberry mist
Blended in twilight’s peripheral style
Lemonade clouds oh so tenderly kissed

Lilac and rose petals color the sea
Whispers of sunset afloat up above
Such are the wonders rewarded to me
Each time I think of our beautiful love
I landed upon your arm,
a pixie rose; misery sung.
I could barely hear the wailing
of the dreams you were veiling.

I dare you not, my dear,
to cast a void in these ears;
hampering my tears
from your forlorn seals.
(*) inspired by Bohumil Kubišta's "Polibek smrti" (1912)
The night was sallow,
shrieking out of our sorrow.
The moon saw us collide:
we were trapped in our pride.

The moon did not consent
when she lulled us to sleep.
While we were fast asleep,
she wept to our vast dissent.
I remember,
there was a time;
the triumph for our kind
when we were still fine:
a heaven-sent rhyme.

I remember,
there was a time;
when our rhyme
was no more
than a yore: heaping
our seams of bore.

I remember,
the heaven-sent rhyme
that was, is now no more;
for neither you nor me
can never leave love be.

Twenty two twenty two
Alone
Quiet
In a private place
In my home
Silent

Twenty two years ago
I was twenty two
And twenty two year before that
I was born

Twenty two twenty two
I would like
To live you
Twice over again

Eighty eight
Is my goal
To live
Two more lifetimes
Perhaps I will become
Twice as wise

If I should ever come to read this
Twenty two years from now
I will remember this moment
With fond nostalgia

Twenty two twenty seven
Five minutes has passed in writing
And I finish
My day
15th May 2016
While some eat for fun,
others are starving for a single bun.

The air, having imparted
its humble request to
winds that must come...
gives way for greater being.
Funneled as a flowery
fragrance, through the
tiny holes of a window screen.
Delicately blessing a home
before fading.
