Dullness burning inside
Feeling disconnected, unwired
Unsure where my books pages shall roam
Not even a clue of where to call home

Roaming desolate plains of existence
Sating my thirst in the oasis of absence
Traversing the dunes of empty dreams
Venturing across our universes seams

Scaling volcanoes of reason
Only to find it's the wrong season
A crater of false hope
A blank canvas globe

Is there an ending to my extinguished flame
Will it reignite once again
Will purpose come knocking on my door
To show me the world once more

My dream is just this
Like a child's bedtime kiss
Send me on my way
Away from the world of yesterday

Share your joy all around
Moments now rarely found
Inviting all without a sound
Laughter and fun will be inbound
E**mbrace the love which surrounds

Drifting in the arms of an angel
Gracefully floating across the seas
Gleaming stars shimmering above
Resting my lonesome soul at ease

Your whispers melt away my armor
Invading with a soft sweet aroma
My heart beats to your every breath
Diving deeper and deeper into my depths

Stuck in moments of pain and grief
Getting by only through gritting teeth
Smiling through river eyes
Hoping for a journey set for the skies

I know these moments shall pass
Likely slow but hoping fast
Though there's pain time shall heal
As long as my soul it does not steal

I keep coming to one question
One that sends me through illusion
Why did I close that door
It keeps burning me straight to the core

I tell myself its for the best
But in the end I keep ending in a mess
Stirred up, turned over, twisted aside
Stung deep feeling parts of me have died

Maybe one day I'll stand upon this pain
But until that day my eyes continue to rain

There's an expanding rift inside my chest
As I hear you take your last breath

Freedom resides in my dreams

Where does my heart lie
When I reach for the sky
Where will i find a love
When I search the stars above

Who will be that one
Who embraces me warm as the sun
Who will hold my heart
Who turns my life into art

How will I know
When her soul does glow
How will I see
When it shall be her and me

All I know is she's out there somewhere
Waiting for someone to care
I'll be here waiting, searching for a sign
To show me when I can call you mine

Watching others rub
Their noses in dirt

Life has twisted so much
That all is seen is makeup
Just a powdered finishing touch

Travels mountains of pain
And valleys of sorrow
A journey through torrential rain

Waltzing fields of joy
Gracious gardens of love
Floating through clouded skies

Fighting demons from east to west
Meeting angels north to south
Experiencing more than the best
Flavours of life resting in mouth

Will you lay and wait
In a shackled prison
Or will you  make it count
And take your journey to wisdom

Today's another day
Just like the rest
I sit here pondering
With my thoughts all a mess

Imagination whirling
On turntables inside
And all I can come up with
Is this repeated style of write

Upon the doorstep of today
I met a man on his way
To the the world of yesterday

I asked him why he'd return
To a day with nothing more to learn
All I got was a look ever so stern

There is more in the past
Which we miss with time so fast
So dig deep into your memory cast

In each memory there's something missed
Upon you forehead it could have kissed
Go for a walk down memory lane, I insist

But there is one place I shall go
Where we will meet and see a show
And that is the day of tomorrow

Out on the oceans
Of uncharted dreams
We sail in search
Of life's endless seams

Dreaming the impossible
In hope it comes true
Sailing the skies
Ever so blue

Hiking the peaks
Of a flaming sun
In nothing that we seek
It's all just for fun

Emerse yourself
In endless creation
Imagine worlds
Of constant motion

Don't be afraid
To dive in deep
For its only a dream
While you sleep

Shattered glass merging
With crystal rains
Flowing colors through surging
Diamonds like perfect a quatrain

Muscles releasing tension
To drift into ascension
Is my intention

How do you help
From so far away
You know they're safe
But are they okay

Communications all cut
Unable to know
What's manifesting inside
All I can do is turn to tommorow

Tell me what's wrong
I'm here to listen
Feeling sick in the stomach
A razor incision

Your heart is hurting
And I have no choice
But to wait in silence
Until I hear your voice

Like a kiss upon my cheek
Infusing a tender glow

So well intertwined
But sometimes world's apart
We all know how it starts

The tango of two
you just have no clue
What do you do

Spinning and whirling around
They turn to you, their crowned
Your the master of the choice
The one with a mighty voice

A marvelous creation
A form of communication
To illustrate our imagination

Travelling like the song of birds
But be careful with words
They can be as sharp as swords

With words we all empower
Even if words become sour
Learn not to cower
For they will help you flower

I've got an old tale just for you
Not that hairy *** hanging thing
Something brand spanking new
I am a little bit crazy
But once you know me
You will see how I fly with one wing

Now to the tail we shall go
Waving left and right, to and fro
Sometimes fast and sometimes slow
A lot says a tail, oh they bellow
But not with a voice oh no no
With the to and fro shows the flow

Now isn't this interesting
A tale of a tail, should I say more
What was I thinking
It gets thrown around and rubbed on the floor
Of what domain am I now sinking

You can't tell me? you don't know?
You've followed this entire show
Oh, it's ok I'm just cooky
Here just forget it all and have a cookie

Ink upon the canvas
Embedded in harmony
Each stroke a note of

Take some time to understand

Time and time again
We worship and fear time itself
But little do most realise
That time is just
A mathematical equation
To secure us into a chain
Giving us the idea of an end

Time
Time is made of numbers upon numbers
Just think for one moment
Numbers have an infinite value
Therefore numbers can reach
an infinite decimal place

Time
If we take this all into account
For it may feel faster than it seems
But we are eternal
For time is just numbers
In which we tried to cage
The life of each being

An endless restriction
If trapped in the box
Or an eternity

When times are tough
And things get rough
Remember your story

I lay here watching as the sands of time run from your eyes.
Helplessly I wait as your soul cracks,
Spindling a spiders web on the verge of shattering

My inner core carved from the glass of your broken sorrows.
Deep in every crevice of your veins,
You begin to bleed dry.

I hear your screams of wondering why.
I try to absorb some of your pain,
But all it does is drown me in a devouring sludge,
Trying to consume us both.

I wish to caress your feint beating heart,
But you can't hear my words or feel my touch through the shattering breeze of a dreaded distance

A remote control
That's all I need
My life would be simple
To change times speed

I could fast forward
The times of dislike
I could pause
And go on a life strike

And that one special button
If I get into trouble
And I need sound gone
I can mute on the double

What does this button do
The big red one at the top
Maybe I'll get a better view
It seems I was wrong, for life just stopped

Why do I continue
Allowing them to use me
Why do I smile
Through this wretched agony

They sit back and watch
As I do what they need
They sit back and laugh
As I break down and bleed

But I still insist
On helping the needy
But still I'm blind
To those who are greedy

I live off my kindness
And yet I'm breaking
To them I just a target
An advantage for the taking

The only home from the pain
Is when my ink hits the paper
Without this relief I'd go insane
Sometimes I wish I was just a vapor

Silently holds dear
Every last word
Careful not to smear.
Recklessly told
Effortlessly severe,
Trust turns cold

The hymn you play
Breaks my wall down
Your graceful serenade
Sends me flying from the ground

Floating on the clouds

You know all my sounds

I'd like to begin with a big thank you
A loving hug and even a kiss too
You guys are my brick wall
Keeping my structure standing tall

Even when you're not around
You've kept my feet on the ground
Either you've all kept me sane
Or maybe together we're all going insane

But no matter how my journey ends
Remember forever we are the best of friends
Even through all the insanity
You are all still my family

The airs chilling howl
Screaming its sorrows
The skies thundering cry

Pain flows along the winds
Coarsing our skin
Drowning in the tears
Chilling to the vein

But behind all this pain
I see cheerful times
Plants are blooming
In the wind the tree chimes

Birds are now chirping
The sun poking his eye
Through a tear in the grey mask
Mask fading, uncovering the sky

I lay my head, drifting....
To the land of dreams
A paradise of endless creating
A temporal displacement of the seams

A world of no boundaries
Plains of expansive imagination
Diving into an array of stories
A creative imagination invasion

Transcendent angels, greasy ghouls
Some dreams amazing, others well...
Nightmares trap our souls
Until an otherworldly bell tolls

Jarred and torn awake
Morning time already
Wishing it all fake
Missing my world of confetti

Good night, sleep tight my child
Dream your heart wild

It's come to a point in time
For just some random rhymes
Rhyming in a random way
For when there isn't much to say

Just flow with your feelings
Let them bounce off the ceilings
It will roll off your tongue
It will be heard and be sung

It's not hard at all
Just try starting small
And the more you rhyme
Shall make it sublime

Enjoy each line
And every word you sign

When will she walk into my life

The door is open for her now

She is a gorgeous diamond, shining
A smile ever so admiring

A sparkling star of my dreams
May not be today but someday it seems

So when you say I'm quirky
Remember your just the same
We all have our traits
And our quirky other sides

So just remember one

So see me from close
