  karma is a *****,
     wearing six inch stillettos

and she's dying to dance...
                                    the tango

so today....

    i choose, to step aside
and let her have her way.

dance on down
            dance on down...
for those who need no names, deserve not my time
or thought...
my girl karma...
    she's a coming.... nuff said.
I cannot write
I cannot find
behind the creases
of my mind
the words to fill
another line,
those words wait
out of sight
for now I
cannot write.

A man spoke the truth,
and had his tongue removed.
His hands were left intact,
so he started to write the facts.
The men that articulate falsehoods,
came back to take his hands.
They searched far and wide,
including foreign lands.
He sat with pen and paper,
locked away on his own accord.
The men took his hands,
hoping thoughts could reach The Lord.
But this did not deter him,
because he lived for the truth.
And as long as he lived,
he would continue like in his youth.
But without a tongue he couldn't say:
You'll have to **** me to get your way.
I promised myself
"I will get there next year!",
With the people I trust though. Not the ones from the crowd.

we will save together,
and re-watch the history,
and plan every outfit, every detail to a tee.

we will travel together, laugh together
and come across unforgettable moments together.
But nothing will be planned once we step in the gates

to realise we are ready.

A heavy heart, Beloved, have I borne
From year to year until I saw thy face,
And sorrow after sorrow took the place
Of all those natural joys as lightly worn
As the stringed pearls, each lifted in its turn
By a beating heart at dance-time. Hopes apace
Were changed to long despairs, till God’s own grace
Could scarcely lift above the world forlorn
My heavy heart. Then thou didst bid me bring
And let it drop adown thy calmly great
Deep being! Fast it sinketh, as a thing
Which its own nature doth precipitate,
While thine doth close above it, mediating
Betwixt the stars and the unaccomplished fate.
The best of my poetry wasn't written down,
Rather, was spoken to empty rooms,
The stinging silence pregnant,
Each syllable a fleshy womb
Creating, and recreating, your
Image in my mind.

Dancing on a cloud that dreams have washed along the shore
Counting every star drop feathered bliss
Walking with a happy heart to vistas near and far
Feeling still our moon lit good night kiss

Staying up past midnight with the sunlight in my eyes
Floating off to every sound I hear
Cellophane in colors wrapped so tightly ’round the skies
Candy coated marmalades appear

Singing to a butterfly in harmonies of spring
Picking daisy petals sent by you
Falling to the rhythm of its ever moving wings
Hoping that this flower will be true

Riding on a zebra with its stripes the bluest green
Milkshake pizzas waiting by the door
Peppermints and lavenders are painted on the screen
Wanting that but this is so much more

Climbing up a ladder just to see how low I can
Wishing on a cross that finds its criss
Funny what my mind does see while knowing that I am
Feeling still our moon lit good night kiss
Magic spells
Casting enchantments
Only time tells
If wishes come true

Voodoo hexes
To destroy
What wrecks us
Try the witches brew

Magic genie
Grants three wishes
Do you see
They're all for you

Pixie dust
For extra luck
Because I must
Start anew

Magic wand
Spell book bindings
I'm quite fond
Of loving you

Your drink I mix
Love potion
For a quick fix
To make your heart true

After all the spells
Enchantments
Hexes
Potions
And brews
It seems now
You love me too.
You know apart from writing poetry I design gardens for other
people just as an unpaid sideline
But come and take a look in my garden.
Rough laid brick edging round the lawn and I do mean rough
you wont see a dead straight line there
Flowers, hot oranges intermingled with reds and gold
No
Plants carefully chosen for form and texture
No
Rather a jumble of wild and cultivated plants doing their
own thing
White campion, red campion intermingle with white and yellow daisies
Scarlet poppies vie for space with rosebay willow herb
Sage and thymes in profusion
Great clumps of lemon balm mixed in with chives and lavenders
Foxgloves and hollyhocks in places they shouldnt be
Wild mallows and geraniums growing where they choose
And running wild my favourites of the flower world
nasturtiums
That then is my garden, my retreat, my oasis of calm
