Tears of red fell upon the ground
The clouds white, pure as snow,
A sky once blue had faded to black
But still the rain fell,
For if it fell upon the flesh
Pain,
Decay,
Infestation,
It corrupted what was touched
Life was death,
What once was pure
Now darkness filled that hole,
Plants once green
Now tainted white
To touch a leaf once soft,
Twisted,
Defiled,
Infected,
Now less life, to touch but dust
A full tree of white now but decayed
Blown in the wind turned white to black,
It fell from the heavens
Once pure, the giver of life
But now the red fell from above
Clouds so pure,
But they bleed the life down below,
What once gave
Now takes all that was life,
Now only darkness and decay
Is above as well as below.
