Tears of red fell upon the ground The clouds white, pure as snow, A sky once blue had faded to black But still the rain fell, For if it fell upon the flesh Pain, Decay, Infestation, It corrupted what was touched Life was death, What once was pure Now darkness filled that hole, Plants once green Now tainted white To touch a leaf once soft, Twisted, Defiled, Infected, Now less life, to touch but dust A full tree of white now but decayed Blown in the wind turned white to black, It fell from the heavens Once pure, the giver of life But now the red fell from above Clouds so pure, But they bleed the life down below, What once gave Now takes all that was life, Now only darkness and decay Is above as well as below.
