I took Grief out for a walk
Under a starless sky and moon sliver
I took Grief out for a spin and on a drive
Watering gardens with the tears from my eyes
I laid Grief out during a rainstorm
Blending in with the weather
I took grief out on you and it made you shiver, hardened your heart, and late to deliver
I kicked Grief out of my place
Abandoned at a night club and ran away
Found her grieving in my bed the following day
I took my grief out
Hoping one day it will go away
